Accident at Canada's Wonderland "Zephyr" type ride

Featured Replies

Apparently a 17 year old flew out of their Zephyr type ride yesterday.

And people complain about the KI response for Banshee, but that was an end of story from the beginning event because almost immediately it was conveyed a guest entered a restricted area and was hit by Banshee and that appeased the curiosity of the general public and the park didn't need to release statements or elaborate more than what they did in a press release to the media.

But at Wonderland, it wasn't as simple of an incident and the next day the general public still doesn't really have an answer.  Did the guest fall out or were they inside the fence and got hit by the ride or rider?

Some articles suggest she had a medical emergency and fell out but nobody will elaborate: "Police, paramedics and Canada’s Wonderland would not confirm if she fell from a ride"

And Wonderland's socials make zero comment of the incident.

A duty inspector tells 680News Radio that the teen girl suffered a medical episode leading to her falling off a ride. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

A spokesperson for Canada’s Wonderland confirmed a guest fell off Swing of the Century, which was reported by staff.

Technical Safety and Standard Authority (TSSA) officials inspected the ride at the scene and deemed it safe. It will remain open on Friday.

Guest had a medical episode and fell. With it involving a medical condition, now sure how much more could have been said in this situation, other than the ride was inspected by the government, it is safe and is back open (which it is).
