What happened to the swans from the pond where the Diamond Back goes through now?

Were they killed?

 

Were they swans or those terrible geese?  

If they were geese, I hope they ended up on someone's dinner table...go tell aunt rhodey!

It was called Swan Lake but the inhabitants were the annoying Canadian Geese.

The 2008/2009 offseason was a wild time. It can’t be understated just how big of an undertaking Diamondback was. Not only in terms of new construction, but the adjustment the park needed to make for both operations and maintenance. Adding that ride into the lineup was a big deal that touched nearly every department that winter. Once it was all said and done and the coaster was topped off, they had a massive party for all the winter workers (both the in-house folks and contractors who built the ride).
