If you could retheme one ride at the park, which one and how?

Featured Replies

This could mean a ride you feel needs rethemed, or just feel like retheming would work better for the area its in. This covers all areas of the park (Planet Snoopy, rivertown, coney mall, Action Zone)

I would retheme stunt car coaster. just lacks a real identity ever since it lost the italian job IP, even tho that didn't offer much to begin with.

I would retheme Boo Blasters into an actual Haunted House (no guns), and Phantom Theater makes its return!

I’ll second this!

I mentioned this before on an another thread. But, I would retheme Backot so that it ties in more with Rivertown and make the area it is in more aesthetically pleasing.

New trains resembling Conestoga wagons.

New name would be, “Horseless Carriages.”

Story would be this: One of the more eccentric residents of Rivertown has developed a way for Conestoga Wagons to run themselves and has invited the public to test them out.

I agree with a new theming, I always felt that the theming of Backlot Stunt Coaster belongs more in Action Zone rather than Rivertown.

Paramount’s placement of themed rides in the early 2000s left a lot to be desired. I agree.

Tomb Raider could have fit in nearer to Adventure Express. Though where, I don’t know.

Backlot. Remove all the city theming and plant grass and some trees. I don’t care what it’s themed too as long at the Hollywood stuff goes away.

I doubt I could find it now but a while back I posted a detailed overhaul idea for Backlot that would turn it into a ride-thru classic funhouse theme for Coney, including removing the way into the entrance plaza that's towards the Rivertown side, restoring the serpentine brick wall there, and angling the entrance to make it fully Coney instead of the haphazard half-Rivertown half-Coney setup it has currently. There's way too much concrete just for the entrance plaza space, so a lot of that would be taken out for landscaping. The parking garage would also be removed and a wall of trees planted down the path to separate it from Rivertown.

Cover up all the exposed steel structure of the midcourse stop, turn the midcourse stop into something like a house of mirrors and light tricks (same for the tunnel), remove or cover the shipping containers, bright paint scheme, remove the fire effect system, etc. I got into more detail when I originally posted this idea over a year ago but I don't remember what thread it was in.

I do hope when they add something in the Vortex spot there will be room in the budget to retheme BLSC. It's only on its second name. It's behind compared to a few of the others.

Upcoming merger, it'll be rethemed to Got2B Hair Products or Twix.

Nah Racer will become Twix. “Are you Left Racer or Right Racer”
