Biggest mistake by the park ever! Miss snapping those Eagles more so today than ever. My favorite flat ride ever!

I got a few snaps on it when I was down at Carowinds a few years ago.  

Yep, I went a couple years ago to Carowinds and spent the entire day between them and Fury!

I just rode them last month. Carowinds has completely destroyed the experience. 
 

The range of the front fin on this ride at Carowinds has been restricted.   And the cycle is VERY short.  You might get two or three good dives at the most on a ride.   It’s about the same experience now as the Larson replacement at Kings Island.

But I rode the  Flying Eagles at Kings Dominion last week and they are running perfectly.  Full range of motion on the front fin and a good cycle length.   You can get about 10 or so good dives on the cycle

I agree, I had issues with the Carowinds set on my few cycles. The ones at KD are now my favorite set!

Probably my favorite show so far! Miss our Eagles. I hope they fly back to Cincy one day soon. That spot behind the Eiffel Tower looks empty…

Extra sad about these being gone after listening to the podcast.  I cannot imagine the experience had they been placed on the Flight Commander pad.

I remember the year before it was taken out, my sister and I went to ride it, but it had a long wait, my sister said "Eh we can just ride it next year."

Next year comes and yeah...

I rode this the last year it operated AND at Paramount's Carowinds in 2006.
