Cool pictures! I think it's really cool seeing the park in the offseason!

Somewhere in all the pictures, I saw a couple of Vortex. I know that some of it was painted recently, but did they ever paint the entire coaster? (due to surgery, I was unable to visit the park last season) Also, when was the last time The Racer got a paint job?

Egh..Show me something I haven't seen with aerial shots of PKI then I'll be impressed. You can only take so many pictures of the same thing.

As for the tarp, it's there to shield the maintenace guys from the elements while they work on that section of track. Notice the fresh wood above the tarp leading into the second hill. Oh and that man lift is there year-round Bobby. Drop Zone wasn't running either. It's called maintenace mode.

That so called "tunnel" on SOB is (like what was said earlier) nothing more than a bunch of tarps, its for maintenance when they are doing track work. They had it up on the rosebowl last year when they were working out there. Sorry guys, no tunnel is coming in the near future to the son.

This just proves that PKI during the off-season makes major changes.

True, but there isn't really much you would have seen that the park supplied updates wouldn't have offered.

Yea that may be true but you would at least get a better idea of the overall progress.

I still can’t understand why they couldn’t add a webcam like CP did for Maxair. Other than forcing most of us into therapy for watching it too much it would have pacified us.

I'm pretty sure that they want to build the coaster first, and not worry about a webcam.

it is not that hard to set up a webcam. They have had a couple of them at CP for years. PKI had one up when they were doing the Wild Thornberries ride.

I never knew they had a webcam up when that was being constructed.

Nothing yet has happened to the campground aria. Most likely we will see some changes during this season.

It's too bad they don’t have it up. IJST is right there! CP fans can watch Maxair being built everyday. Updates anytime they want! There ya go Ben, a nice comment about CP from me.

PKI should bring back the webcam just for the construction of rides and nothing else.

They should bring it back to let us know what is going on on IJST construction.

Fuel for a plane is NOT cheap, I won't say exactly how much it is but one full tank can get us to CP and back (That is if the wind cooperates). We don't need to refill the tank every time we go flying. Hope that answers your question. If yho have more questions, feel free to ask me!
