July 10, 20224 yr I think I just saw the train being backed into the barn at 9:15 p.m. on this Saturday night in July. Why does the train stop early? Nighttime is a good time to ride the train.
July 10, 20224 yr The ridership the last hour must not have justified the cost, even thought I do not think a ride should be closed before the park closes. I also do not think a lot of the restaurants should close 45 min to an hour before the park closes either.
July 10, 20224 yr Both trains run on weekends. Likely only one of the trains was being transferred off. The other one could have operated until 10:00 PM.
July 12, 20224 yr It’s purely a cost saving measure unfortunately. I love night rides on the train. That’s what Winterfest is for. B

May 30, 20233 yr Does the train close even earlier now than last season? I think I saw it backing up around 8:00 PM the other day.

May 31, 20233 yr The waterpark closes at 7 so really there’s no reason to keep the train open past 8. When they used to stay open later, there would only be a few people riding it. I’m sure they’d rather have those conductors staffed somewhere else for the remaining 2 hours that the park is open.
