Considering every ride I have ridden, I have either been stapled, or had to resist being stapled, most for general safety, however, some for cruelty.

I have ridden some good wood and thought differently about the same ride from staple - non-staple...

This affects the ride for the guest.

How do you feel about Stapling?

If I were a ride operator, I wouldnt like the torment you go through... yelling and bickering over crap...

I would probably only staple people I knew and could joke around with. Even if an ACEr was being cocky - I probably wouldn't staple them cause they could complain to GR or something. Plus, I am sure that they get plenty of staplings from other ride ops. So I would probably cut them some slack.

It was a tradition on FoF that if someone of FoF crew rode their ride, they got stapled. I'm not even on that crew anymore and they still try to staple me cause I was on the crew a year, lol. It's all in good fun though.

As for my stapling procedure, I picked the first one. I only staple people if it's a good friend of mine. I would never intentially staple a stranger because they were annoying.

Yes, but on FoF more than most crews. Beast does it every once in awhile, but not nearly as much.

As a former PKI ride op, I only stapled people who were being stupid, by not pulling there bars down far enough.

Is it possible to prevent yourself from being stapled? I mean if you push hard enough, you can staple anybody can't you?

I could prevent myself from being stapled on TRTR just have to push up against the harness more than the restraint checker, alienseed is another story though, its jsut the way the harness clicks you cant get anouther click on him.

Look at my personal photo. The laws of physics says I should be stapled extremely easily, especially since I don't put the restraints really tight. I have a special way of avoiding stapling on every ride in the park (it's different for each ride). Yeah, no one can figure out how I do it either, since I just put my arms up, relax, and let them try their best. Only one person has ever caught me off guard at FOF.

Vortex is too easy to avoid stapling, just lean forward into it.

I only staple punk teenagers that get on my nerves, or people that I dislike. Or people that do stupid things.

FoF hurts like a and is no fun what so ever when you get stapled, you just want the ride to end

I remember stapling someone at FOF, and they were cussing up a storm. He deserved it anyways. It was someone from The Racer crew we all hated.
