50th Anniversary Pins

The WindSeeker pin is simply being realistic to the actual ride by experiencing technical delays prior to availability.

  • Actually... What you're seeing is a lesser known logo for Flight Commander commonly used on merchandise for the attraction. (See examples below) It's common for rides and attractions to have more

  • A birdie told me there might be event more fun things on the way.  Save your $$$.  LOL!

Told in email from KI merchandise that they will let us know on Social Media when the pin is available.

Of curse now that park is closed, you pay $7 for the pins since they have to mail it...

I know that paying $7.00 is neither fun nor fair for shipping such a small item as one pin…but in the site’s defense, shipping costs have gone up a lot over the past couple of years…plus they do ship Priority Mail.

I am very happy with the site’s current shipping calculator. In the past it was often cheaper to split your items into 2 different shipments because the calculator that they were using at that time seemed to be miscalculating the packages true weight…now it appears that no matter how much you order it is still only around $7.00. I ordered one of the full train Beast cutouts…and those things are REALLY heavy…I also had a few pins in that order…and shipping was still only around $7.00!

I appreciate the site is working like this…it means that someone like me who lives far away and can not come to the park often can still keep up with new items. I am a Gold Pass holder…so it kills me that I already miss out on a 10% discount because I can not come to the park…so having a reasonable (IMHO) shipping cost makes this situation a little less painful.

I am so thankful the site even exists! :)

It’s finally up on the site! [emoji4]8B0FB050-0396-4138-B8FA-7F247B9A16B5.thumb.jpeg.0e906946dafbcdf9d6ee39bf11851830.jpeg
And thanks for them for not having it at the park it just cost me 18.00 with shipping and taxes. But I had to get it to complete the collection.

You should have thrown on one of the new full train cut outs…that way you would have gotten more bang for your buck with the shipping cost!

Anybody else still actively collecting KI pins? I like to pick up one or two a visit when I can. I’m hoping they make more. Here’s my collection so far:

Started way back in 2018 from what I remember. Also big into the Disney Pin Trading/Collecting.

What KI pins would you like to see?

This was a gift I received from a good pal of mine. These pins were sold here and there, I don’t remember seeing them on display though.

It was a Paramount pin, the Cedar Fair ones had to use Crypt, just like the other former Paramount-named rides, because I'm sure it wouldn't have been worth the cost to license those names for a limited pin series.

I have a bunch of extra Beast 25th ones from the 2007 Paramount merch fire sale where everything left in the warehouse, even employee polo shirts that said Paramount Parks on them, got hauled out and sold for pennies on the dollar in a temporary shop where the glassblower usually resided on International Street, but I don't have any more extra TR:TR ones.

Of the 50th anniversary offerings, I only have the blue and gold pin/keychain/magnet set and the original logo Vortex pin. Also have the "Orion Sequence" Vortex pin. Everything else is either Paramount or the Cedar Fair collector pin lineup. There were a few others from the 50th line that I was interested in but didn't get around to, and haven't checked availability for a while. Online store might still have some stock of those.
