I've got a suggestion to change the flood control to less than 30 seconds. It would help because sometimes I come here and read topics as a guest when I sign in I already know what I want to say.

I agree. I think on all the forums I visit the flood control is 15 secs. It makes it a lot easier when you are short on time and want to make a few posts in different topics.

Well, it does cut back on post whores. I really don't like people who post in every single topic just to get their post count up and make it seem like they have things to say. The flood control deters it.

By cutting it to 15 seconds you would still have a flood control. We're not saying take it out completely. I don't really think reducing it by 15 seconds will create more people that are trying to up their post count either.

30 second flood control sucks! it backs up if there are several peeps on one topic
