What KI Rides Have You Never Been On?

Featured Replies

Since I'm 35 years of age now, does the Planet Snoopy area count? It was Hanna-Barbara land back when I was 5 years old. I don't remember the rides too much, but my parents probably have vintage photos of me riding those rides.

    I haven't been on a KI giga...

  • Congo Falls is one of those unique rides that, if you actually get in line and ride it, you feel like you're in a completely different place other than Kings Island.

The only active ride in the entire park I’ve never been on (including up charges and water rides) is Charlie brown’s windup. The other kid rides I went on when I had very small children, but they do

i haven't been counting Planet Snoopy rides since the first post said not to, but I would have to add everything that wasn't there in the early to mid 90s. Unfortunately, my memory can't vouch for riding all the Hanna-Barbara from that era either.

I have never been on the Banshee, I don't know why, I have never had the guts to get on it

He probably meant the Sky Ride.

Yes sorry for the typo.

I never rode King Cobra...

I spent my entire childhood watching that thing every year, just mesmerized. Once I was tall enough my dad tried several times to get me to ride it.

No joke, in the summer of 2001 I was with him in the ride station, and at the last minute I chickened out and told myself next year I would finally do it.

And of course next year never came for King Cobra as we all know lol... I learned a lesson to just do it after that, no matter how scared I am of a ride I always take advantage of the opportunity to ride.

King Cobra eluded me by a year. After not having been at the park since 1997/1998, I got a Gold Pass in 2002 and on my first visit in May, headed up the Eiffel Tower before leaving and got to see an empty space of dirt. I hadn't been aware of the removal until that moment.

i've never been on WindSeeker, Drop Tower or Delirium.. also orion, Banshee and Diamondback lol

I hope you are able to brave them at some point!

I haven't ridden Drop Tower because that's the one that's a bit too much for me. I also haven't ridden KI's WindSeeker, but I have ridden CP's....it was also a bit too high up and stomach-churning for my likes, so I won't be trying KI's anytime soon.

And in terms of past rides, I was never able to ride the OG Bat, Demon, Rotor, or Bavarian Beetle. Just a bit before my time (but I did ride King Cobra several times).

Ah man you gotta get on Drop Tower! I used to be deathly afraid of Drop Towers. I would ride any coaster no question, but I would not want to do the Drop Towers. Well I went and rode Falcon's Flight at BGT and that scared the heck out of me so now I'm not afraid of them anymore lol. But seriously...you're missing out on Drop Tower. The first ride of the season on Drop Tower is always the best!!!

Inpukeago, Delirium, zephyr, wind chaser, scrambler, troika, the barrels, and that thing in front of Adventure Express that I can't remember the name of.

Peanuts 500, Charlie Brown’s Wind Up, Joe Cool’s Dodgem School, and Snoopy vs Red Baron are the only rides I’ve not ridden in the history of Kings Island.

I also rode Grand Carousel, Off Road Rally, Scrambler, Monster, Linus’ Beetle Bugs, and the Log Flume before Kings Island at Cincinnati’s Coney Island. The original Kings Island Dodgem there, too!
