I believe I saw the top of the second hill being driven through the parking lot this morning.

A BIG support just arrived on a truck, and it takes up the entire length of the trailer, and nearly as wide as the cab.  Niiiice.

It appears there are more triangular supports ready to install.
Edit:  Then again, after looking at the layout, there shouldn't be any of that size left.  From here on out, the supports get bigger and bigger..
 

There are a number of valleys where those pieces could go.

I think there are enough UK fans in the area where this tweet could be fun for them.  Having said that.... if Orion was going to be given a nickname like Big Blue, it should probably be the biggest blue in the general area at least.  JS

Lexington (and basically all of UK's market area) is in Kings Island's market area.  How is it a stupid tweet?

What are you talking about?? Cincinnati is in the tri-state area. If you aren't familiar with the Cincinnati area, it borders both Kentucky, and Indiana, and is split by the Ohio River. 

 

There is nothing "stupid" about the tweet. As anyone familiar with Cincinnati would understand, the connections between Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio run very deep in the area. 

Cincinnati has a far larger population of UK fans and alumni than one would think.  Just the Cincinnati chapter of the UK alumni association has over 10,000 active members.

The crane that has been used for off-loading has moved over to the area near the turnaround supports.  Maybe we get track installed soon?

Am I the only one that is wishing for a better camera placement? You can barely make out anything they are working on. I feel like they cheaped out by just turning the Banshee cam.

Fury's cam was worse.  It was even further away.

Right im glad we have cams lol some parks dont. Might be blurry or what ever, I think the Banshee one was good, but the focus is on Orion now. Im excited to watch its progress.

Preach! KI hasn't moved a cam since they started MT.

I enjoyed watching the MT cam when it was being built. It was right on top of the lift hill and you could see every bent going up in great detail.

That cam has to be the most boring cam of all time now haha It was fun during construction but now ….no thanks!

EDIT* I take that back......the worst one I have seen was the copperhead strike cam. It was about 90% blurry the entire time.

Sheesh. Yall need to chill with the cam... you'll see alot during Winterfest.

They worked on Saturday, took Sunday off and have worked all of this week.
