June 1, 20197 yr First paragraph. Don’t know how serious, but I think it’s a good idea anyway. Which scents would you want to see (or smell?) at KI? https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2019/may/a-walk-in-the-park-at-kings-island-what-am-i-doing-this-week
June 1, 20197 yr I absolutely love smelling all of the flowering trees (and now, the Wisteria tunnels) when I visit Kings Island in the spring. And for some reason (I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before) the fresh lumber smell in Slaughterhouse always makes me hungry. I know there are some people who would buy a “chain grease in the morning” scented candle
June 2, 20197 yr I like the “scent” of all the people who don’t know how to bathe, so they make their weekly visit to Soak City for a “bath”.

I was thinking “stank” options would be available for Haunt. I think ones that would work would be: -Cotton candy -Blue Ice Cream -Mystic Timbers (fresh wood smell) -Skyline Chilli -LaRosa’s Can you think of any others?
June 2, 20197 yr ^ That sewer smell that’s over by Delrium every now and then. That EXTREMELY nasty smell that the female ginkgo trees make in the fall The petting zoo area.
June 2, 20197 yr I'm all for chain grease. They need a 40 years of terror chain grease scented air freshener. My truck needs this.
June 2, 20197 yr This reminds me of that candle company that makes scented candles based on smells you experience at Disney parks. Their name is slipping me, but Offhand Disney sometimes promotes them.

The Woodstock Whirley birds is one of the smelliest places in the park. A good mix of BO/sweat/mildew
June 2, 20197 yr Author I’m thinking they could do something like a cookie scented one called “Mrs Claus’ Kitchen” for Winterfest.
June 3, 20197 yr ^ That sewer smell that’s over by Delrium every now and then. That EXTREMELY nasty smell that the female ginkgo trees make in the fall The petting zoo area. The ginkgo trees have been removed and replaced with Autumn Blaze maple trees as of April 2018. The only ginkgo trees on site now are on Kings Island Drive streetscape. June 4, 20197 yr I would absoultely buy a chain grease scented candle for my garage while I'm out there working. Does that really require candle form? It’s grease, so it should be flammable. Just sayin’...

June 4, 20197 yr If memory serves me, Uncle Walt always required it to smell like popcorn when you entered Main Street at Disneyland park. I think all the Disney parks still make this a priority at the entrances. I know the bakery on MS at WDW pumps a concentrated vanilla scent into the air. Pirates of the Caribbean & Voyage of the Little Mermaid have "salt air" filters in the air conditioning systems, and at the Germany Pavilion at Epcot they pump caramel scent into the air. Frankly - I'd love it if KI did the same thing on IS.
June 14, 20197 yr When walking into the front entrance, seeing the fountains and smelling that fresh air combined with the water from the fountains is a personal favorite of mine. That scent and scene hits you with "you just entered Kings Island and are about to have a great day"!
June 14, 20197 yr For me, it's the funnel cakes. That smell. If I could have that smell in a candle, I would be set. I agree with others though that the chain grease is a smell that always hangs with me after a day of riding coasters.
June 24, 20197 yr The smell of The Beast's station on a warm day. The scent of Funnel Cakes drifting out on IS. The acrid stench of cigarettes polluting Fountain Garden.
