October 1, 20187 yr Exciting or annoying? I vote annoying. The atmosphere looks great all in orange lighting, but sitting by the fountain its annoying have the random flames shooting. Kings Dominion does not such thing. Just fog.

You must be fun to be around. Is this thread neccessary?
October 1, 20187 yr Exciting But I understand how it could be annoying to some. Fortunately it is only during Haunt and we don’t live in Alternate Unverse KI. There are always flames and torches in Alternate Universes.
October 1, 20187 yr I like it a lot. There are plenty of other places to eat at if it bothers you, I-street even has scare actors working the tables occasionally, so I'd head to festhaus if you want a calmer dining experience.
October 1, 20187 yr I think it is one of the cooler parts of Haunt. The contrast between flames and water is very beautiful. So, another vote for exciting.
October 1, 20187 yr I took my 4 year old to "the spooky park", she said the fire was the only thing that scared her. Most of the actors just wave and say hi when they see her.
October 1, 20187 yr It wouldn't be haunt without the flames. I'm sorry, my opinion, if you don't like it then sit somewhere else, it adds to the spookiness of the park.

Thank God my home park is KI then!
October 1, 20187 yr I loved it. Let there be flames!* *Designated, controlled, safe flames. Let's not burn down my home park.
October 1, 20187 yr I saw a video on YouTube it looks pretty awesome to be honest, a great new effect for the park, especially when I hear the Nightmare On Elm Street theme playing in the background.

October 2, 20187 yr I love the fire, especially when it freaks people out a bit, hehehe... However, I would have loved these type of pyrotechnics during the new fireworks show from the summer season. While it was certainly an amazing spectular, flames during crucial parts would have been awesome!

While it was certainly an amazing spectular, flames during crucial parts would have been awesome! I like the idea but unfortunately you’re talking about raising the cost of the show greatly. To put it in perspective, the Reds have both flames and the home run fireworks. That’s technically two different “shows” ... two different permits, two different insurances, two different people they have to pay to shoot, etc. Can it be done? Sure. Will it be done? Unlikely. It’s fun to think about it though, isn’t it?
October 4, 20187 yr Including something with high cost, and minimal viewing area to something that is meant to be able to be seen from the entire park would probably nix this idea as well.
