Photo Documentary of PKI

Featured Replies

I have a photo documentary class this quarter and I have to come up with prints for our first project which is due Oct. 27th. I have to take about 30 pictures, choose 5, edit if need be or for effect, and write capations or annotations for them.

What do you think? Should I try and get some pictures of the park... say the Rose Bowl of the SOB, the bottom of the second hill of The Beast, places where the public really wouldn't be able to go, especially while rides are operating. Or should I just concentrate on the guests and not really the rides? A combination of both? Forget the park and try something else?

Suggestions and comments would be helpful...

That sounds like a great idea. Go for it! I'll think about it tonight and i'll try to give you some ideas by tomorrow. biggrin.gif

I'm dying to walk the back trail of The Beast. I really like the idea of getting "behind the scenes" shots though, that sounds like a sure winner.

I'd say go for it. As for what you'll take, do a mixture of both. That way there is a nice balance of pictures.

BTS-Guest Area.. You get the idea. cool.gif

Trust me, the trail behind Beast is really hilly, really long. It took me about 20 minutes to walk it, and about 6 cups of water to recover!

Really, I would concentrate on the guests. Everyone sees pics of the rides, but seeing people with pure joy on their faces is more rewarding.

if you walk The Beast's back road, look for the cell phone i lost earlier! it'sa navy-blue and black nokia 3285

I mean seriously, who, on this site, is going to tell you not to do it? Go for it, and maybe you can give some of your picks to Aaron to post on the site for future members or out of town people to see.

to honest.... i don't have a clue why you are wasting your time asking us.... it should have been a "yes" since you thought of it, it is wonderful idea

When you're done, see if you can get it on the web somehow...if possible put all the pictures you take up too. I'd love to see them.
