How does that explain Cedar Point having 14 shows and Valleyfair having 10? You'd think with the "corporate greed" we always hear about when it comes to Cedar Point (oh they're charging for lockers, c

But why? Why should we expect the typical. I’m quite aware most of the WF entertainment was contracted out. That doesn’t mean KI can’t hold the same standard.  I mean, going to see Lusty Lil’s at

I have heard a rumor that the new cirque show will more closely resemble Imagine than Origins, which I know will make a lot of people happy. I loved both of them personally, and there were some things

I was going through the KD and Carowinds sites, seeing what's different they have or don't have compared to KI, and noticed I couldn't find a fireworks show anywhere....  So is that true they both don't have fireworks at the end of the night??

That'd be true for sure at Carowinds. I'm not 100% sure on KD. I do know that 4th of July, they both do fireworks.

KD does them weekends during the core season.

One idea I had for a Rivertown based show (though I don't know where they would host it) would be a live Bluegrass band.  Those are a blast to listen to in person.

How about on the porch of Diamondback Trading Post or the Old Time Photo shops? Also I remember back in the early 90s their was a Dixieland band playing in Rivertown too.

One of the things  I love about this group is that you all mention things like the Dixieland band in the early 90s and then I realize that some of my foggy memories were actually real and not my childhood mind over-inflating my experience. lol   I remember this as well, or at least I thought I remembered it until now - and you've confirmed it. ;)

Weren’t they playing in front of what use to be Swan Lake? They were wearing outfits similar to theseb9587b94d1c7efdc7cd6447ae8a2de51.jpg

I remember the outfits, but I believe I saw them in different places here and there...however, I'm recalling a small gazebo near swan lake? Gosh these memories are really foggy. I was probably 12-13 at the time.

My son really liked the dog show.  The one last year with the Great Danes was pretty bad though.

I have to agree, Jump is a much better show. Luckily KI must have agreed.

Taken Opening Weekend!
