Just guessing with names here so I'm going to roll with "Manticore" . The manticore is a Persian legendary creature similar to the Egyptian sphinx. It has the body of a red lion, a human head with three rows of sharp teeth. According to Wikipedia it lives in a "tropical forest jungle" setting

Would people be upset if it would be named The Sons Revenge?

I do not think something tropical or Egyptian themed would fit well in " Rivertown". Just saying

 

Can anyone see any trees falling while watching webcam? That would be neat!

Here's a crazy question. What do they need a retaining wall for? Why couldn't they just leave the trees there?

I think about all the trees that will fall for this project have already fallen. (But it would have been neat to witness them falling on webcam )

I believe the retaining wall is because they are building an access road, to be used for construction vehicles and later maintenance vehicles, alongside the reservoir.

They need to get the equipment to the build site. Making this access road will allow trucks to easily enter the site through the gate/road on the opposite side of the train track just before the new wall site.

Thriller sounds cool. I'm sure they can't use it but maybe. It would have both werewolves and zombies. They could have the song playing in the carts. Ok, I'm dropping it. Just had to get that last one out.

I don't know about Thriller GavPenn. When I think of the word Thriller, I think of Michael Jackson with his halloween hit, but hey it could happen.

The three little pigs built their houses wood, straw, and brick and the wolf tried to blow their house down. Wolves hide in the woods. Now here is a big one. Logs in the back of a ford truck. Why not a Dodge, Chevy, or GMC? You ford a stream and this links with a log ride. And this will have a wolf theme.

Now on a crazy note I had a crazy thought about the sbo at the old Six flags in Ohio. Is that the Big Bad Wolf or the villain? Could this be coming to river town?

GREAT CATCH! That kind of confirms that it will in fact roll, dip, fly, and dive over WWC.

I am trying to think of a name of a legendary creature of the woods, but one that symbolizes rebirth or a "Revenge of the Forest" type legendary creature... 

 

There is a Forest Phoenix.

 

Bigfoot and Sasquatch struck out at me.

 

The Wendigo, but the backstory seems a bit too dark.

 

A Leshy, but that does not really sounds like a good name.

 

I am a bit stuck, but that is what I have come up with.

 Revenge of mother nature? I guess the coaster is going to be called The Happening. Look for Mark Wahlberg at the announcement.

Might be a bit odd of a name for a coaster, but people seem to be liking the idea of a wolf, so what about Fenrir?

 How would they not be though? Weren't the plans obtained right from the city office. The city would have to be in on it. Very unlikely imo.

If they have music playing in the trains, they should have a separate, more sinister version for Halloween Haunt. I still think Banshee would rock with a sound system. It rocks without it but the thought is nice.

For some reason Centaurs are coming to mind for me, probably because they live in the Forbidden Forest near Hogwarts. But I'm still sticking to something Lumberjack related

I love this name for a future Giga in a different area of the park. Doesn't really fit in Rivertown but it's really cool!

And what exactly is telling you that they were not real? I believe it is against Ohio State law to submit false plans... and the City of Mason would be very unhappy about that.

Too bad we can't use the name Hippogrif, which was also a creature in Harry Potter.
