July 20, 201610 yr Look at the definition of a splinter cat on this page I think it matches up with some hints pretty well. http://mythicalcreatureslist.com/mythical-creature/Splinter+Cat
July 20, 201610 yr I wonder if there also adding a new antique cars attraction as well. That would be cool, but I would still like the big log flume back even more. It's practically made for the rivertown section.

Every time I clicked a link it showed a different ride.

July 20, 201610 yr Man, I miss that ride. It was always one of my favs!!! I don't think they would bring one back right next to another log flume.
July 20, 201610 yr Author WLWT headline: "What the truck?" http://www.wlwt.com/news/what-the-truck-kings-island-drops-another-hint-about-new-attraction/40785098
July 20, 201610 yr Wonder what the card behind the truck says? The left side appears to say "thrill ride" or "thrilling ride"

July 20, 201610 yr It would be pretty cool to see the trains themed to look like old pickup trucks like the one sent in. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
July 20, 201610 yr Throw back to Coney Island with the Wildcat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That would also be a great thing for the BBN as well! jtro-proud graduate of the University FOR Kentucky
July 20, 201610 yr I wonder if there also adding a new antique cars attraction as well. Wow, nice dichotomy!
July 20, 201610 yr I wouldn't even mind the name "Beastie" of it wasn't for the fact that it has been used on a KI kiddie coaster. I think it would be neat to tie this coaster in with The Beast.
July 20, 201610 yr I'm interested in the color of the trucks.....maybe that'll be the color of the train(s)?
July 20, 201610 yr I'm interested in the color of the trucks.....maybe that'll be the color of the train(s)?Agreed. The truck is the same color as the tin man boat by Diamondback, which was never ruled out as a clue. I think the truck is being overlooked here. That leads me to think that someone is cutting down trees in the woods, and loading them into their truck. The physical clues have also been all about wood being cut, from the stumps and felled trees to the sticks. The website teaser may be a diversion. I'm going with Lumberjack.
July 20, 201610 yr I sure hope this announcement is live online. I can't take off work the next day. People have been saying Splintercat on here and I have to say that sounds catchy to me. I know not everyone will agree with me on that statement, but it's original.
July 20, 201610 yr The truck is the same color as the tin man boat by Diamondback, which was never ruled out as a clue. I've avoided asking Don Helbig about Rivertown when I've talked to him this season, but I did finally ask him about the TINMAN boat and whether it was a clue, when I saw him on my birthday last week. First, he didn't even recognize exactly what I was talking about. After I explained further, he said no, it wasn't a clue. He would know! And he is very good about not answering while not lying either, if the situation calls for it. So that was really just me wildly speculating, it never was meant to mean something.
July 20, 201610 yr I'm enjoying the fact one little ride has lost attention is Race for your life Charlie Brown. Most people were thinking this was the last year but it has totally been lost in translation of this new ride unveiling next week. Watch out for those falling trees. July 20, 201610 yr I think we would have received more feline related clues if the name was Splintercat. The website's hint alludes to more of a forest vs lumberjack dichotomy at least in my opinion.
July 20, 201610 yr What ever happened to that one kid who predicted how many pages this topic would go?
July 20, 201610 yr New video just went live! Check out the construction progress! https://youtu.be/7bdgdfWcE28 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I assumed the same, but it's usually not good to assume. Especially when Don enjoys throwing fans for a loop before announcing the new attraction. It's going to be very exciting to see what lies in the woods.
July 20, 201610 yr What ever happened to that one kid who predicted how many pages this topic would go? I said it'd go over 200 in the beginning of the thread. Don't know if that's what you meant or not. But that matters nothing.
