I never see the shows, I only go to go through mazes honestly

Meanwhile many other Cedar Fair parks get a Skeleton Crew type show...and that show does well elsewhere...still convinced if we changed out one act ours would have been a hit...

I think it was that balancing act that did it in. It was very slow paced, it's a great feat, but in a 25 min show, it's not the most entertaining thing.

I've heard that because of rain they've had to cancel a lot of shows and I'm assuming that having a balancing act was what made it so finicky with being able to tolerate even a little rain.

I haven't been to Haunt for a few years, at least at night...do they still do the fog?  That was my favorite part of the whole thing.

Yes.  A little overboard sometimes, in my opinion, but its still there.

Why is Kings Island always the last to announce Haunt stuff? Just put it out there! All the Cedar Fair parks have their Haunt sites & announcements out there except for us.

I am sure Kings Island does not want to confuse the "average" person with showing Haunt early on the website  as they would be easily confused showing up for Labor Day weekend  and not having Haunt activities in the park.

There is a big new asphalted pad in the field where they shoot the fireworks, that can be seen from Blue Racer. Any new road I would assume is related to that, to make it easier to get the fireworks back there to shoot off.

As much as I'd prefer it meant a new Haunt in DA.

I actually believe it is a new haunt behind DA.

I'm still waiting to find out if Kings Island is getting a VR haunt this year, I think the number was 3 or 4 Cedar Fair parks are testing VR haunted mazes, which i think would be amazing, this information was on the most recent Cedar Fair conference call. 

They released the name of the new maze!! it's called field of screams. there is a video on facebook to it!

• As predicted, Tombstone is gone AND so is Cornstalkers
• Backwoods Bayou has taken over... INTERNATIONAL STREET! This is going to be AWESOME!

I'm excited for Field of Screams. Its going to be located behind/beside the Blue Racer and make use of DA as queue. I also believe Bayou is being moved to where Cornstalkers formerly was

So excited to see how this year turns out!!
