Girl, 7, Dies In Bouncy Castle Incident

Featured Replies

Someone was not following regulatons.....

I am praying for her family.

These types of incidents make me so sad, and so very angry at the same time.  7 years old.... never even had a chance to Live.  R.I.P. young one.   :(

A 50mph wind gust shouldn't be enough to pull stakes out of the ground or rip the bouncy house from the loops that the stakes go through. Definitely sounds like someone just set it up and didn't bother anchoring it.

This reminds me of when I would go on RideAccidents.com and see a new story like this every other week.

I read that site, too. It was the day before this that I had mentioned to my niece that in my mind, the most dangerous amusement rides were inflatables. They didn't believe me at first.

There are so many documented accidents with these attractions, and so many documented, I'm chagrined that the same accidents keep happening over and over.
