With potentially record-breaking cold in store for this weekend, there's some good news in the extended temperature outlook.

Steve Horstmeyer of Fox 19 in Cincinnati is predicting sunny skies for next Friday and Saturday. Highs of 61 and 66 each day, respectively.

 

 

Still more than a week out. A lot can change between now and then.

Thank you for that Malem. Unfortunately if you live where I live, you just want to blindfold yourself while going to work because It was supposed to be spring here, but the weather man is being mean about it up here in Northern Ohio. Boo!

I like the rustic feel of the building.  At least they're attempting to blend it in with Rivertown.

7 days is a week. A week from today is preview night.

When counting days, you don't count the first day, you do count the last.

Counting YOUR way:

Today, Friday: 7

Sat: 6

Sun: 5

Mon: 4

Tue: 3

Wed: 2

Thur: 1

FRIDAY: o LIFTOFF.

Uh, no.

What if he is also going by hours, but it'll be too much work to place the hours in because then he would have to be exact... If he was doing by hours as well, it technically would be 7.

Then it would have said hours, not seven days.

And even then it'd be 8, as you would round to the nearest day.

My employer is frequently ordered by courts to do this or that in a certain number of days. Counting days isn't hard. Tomorrow is a day away. Keep adding, one by one. Next Saturday is 8. It is NOT 7.

If it were 7, it'd be a week away. A week from today is next Friday.

Why is this so hard? It isn't.

One week from today is opening day at Kings Island.

 

Looking outside you wouldn't know it. Got a decent dusting of snow on the front grass and on my car.

 

Won't stick around long though as temperatures will be rising within the next few days...

Suppose to be 72 and sunny on Opening Day. I think we finally see summer!

But right now it is a cold winters morning at KI. It is amazing to see how much the weather will change in a week!

One thing I realized? It's been 10 years (on June 30th) that Cedar Fair has owned Kings Island from Paramount.

And ten years since Son of Beast's accident(July 9th).

And we thought we had escaped with that early spring. It might be that the groundhog is just trolling us.

Being that it snowed today, the only thing that will make it seem as if opening week is a reality would be the start of "Current Wait Times" thread! My girls and I are ridiculously excited!
