Coasterstock 2016

Liking the shirts this year, the logo looks great!

I felt like the shirts last year were almost a one time use because mine definitely shrank after washing it.

Thank you to all who attended this year's Coasterstock event.

  • BTW...there will be more than what's listed on the park's website as part of the two days, three nights Coasterstock event. And some of the opportunities listed may be different than what they appear.

  • Recent revelations could certainly expand interest in the event's KI&MVRR tour.

Did you follow the laundry instructions on the care tag?

Or maybe you expanded after ingesting the ribs.

I don't know about ingesting. Licking the sauce off of them, maybe.

^ Yes I did. I've also heard other attendees (not from KIC) say they felt their shirts shrunk after washing.

Mine is the same size. Maybe because I hang dry my clothes. Dryers are pretty harsh on clothes.

Just made it to the hotel room.

Probably head to the park shortly.

Stupid rain.

I believe that was a stage for something they were doing with the educational day at the park, I kept hearing it over the PA about going in front of Festhaus for a demonstration.

Those were actually in the fest haus.

I think it may have been for some music thing... There were some music stands on it this morning, although I didn't see people... But maybe they moved that into fest haus give the weather (some groups were playing in there)

The food was not bad at all. If you ever have a chance to listen to Mr. Speigel speak, I highly recommend it.

Just heard from an attendee that you can no longer snap "Woodstock Gliders" and that it is park policy. I wasn't there so I don't know. Anyone know more? For me if I can't snap, not worth my time waiting to ride it.

Ugg, slept right through the train tour, guess old age is startin to catch up with me.

What did I miss?

How could they make that a policy? If you ride it, don't go on it talking about snapping... Don't look all intense about it... Just ride the ride, and laugh and smile like you are having the good time that you know your having... And act like you don't even notice that you snapped it... Just like a random parent might do if they happened to snap it themselves. Even in that scenario, if the attendant said "don't snap the ride", a random guest who happened to be snapping would likely have no idea they were taking to them.

To me this is coasterstock thing. If the ride ops said that to everyone on a normal day, the majority of guest would have no idea what they were talking about.
