July 7, 201412 yr Somebody leaked the blueprints of Fury 325 or what ever the Carowinds giga coaster is. Found them on Instagram but i don't know if a screen shot is allowed on this page
July 7, 201412 yr I was going to post it earlier but ill leave it to you! The layout looks like a bit of a longer version of Leviathan but with a few more twists and turns. Looks like its gonna be a good one!
July 7, 201412 yr Hmmm.... I heard that the new coaster would be entirely on the NC side of the park..... Oh well, I suppose it going over the entrance is pretty cool.
July 7, 201412 yr Cedar Fair just wants to make a good first impression when you enter the park. What park wouldn't want that? It also looks cool.
July 8, 201412 yr Really? I happen to like Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia. A lot. I think Six Flags got confused and thought they were Cedar Fair for Goliath, there aint no parking spaces under the coaster. I was refering to Scream at SFMM, Shockwave at SFGAm.....
July 8, 201412 yr Carowinds capex decisions are approved by the exact same people who approve Kings Island capex decisions.
July 8, 201412 yr Hey, at least Cedar Fair actually gets rid of the parking lot under their "parking lot" coasters. Scream! at SF Magic Mountain is literally plopped right on the parking lot and fenced off from the rest of the lot. They couldnt even get rid of the freakin lines!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
July 8, 201412 yr The same was true of Great American Scream Machine at NJFTP. Man, I miss that ride...
July 8, 201412 yr https://www.carowinds.com/haunt/ride/Fury/cat/Mazes uh was this already a thing or did I just find it? I don't know a lot about Carrowinds.
July 15, 201412 yr https://www.carowinds.com/haunt/ride/Fury/cat/Mazes uh was this already a thing or did I just find it? I don't know a lot about Carrowinds. Yep, that was a haunted house at their Halloween event last year. When Cedar Fair trademarked the name Fury 325, folks assumed it was the name of a giga coaster that may or may not be thematically related to the haunted house. It wouldn't be the first time. Alton Towers' Halloween event introduced an eerie organization called the Ministry of Joy in a haunted house called "The Sanctuary." The Ministry of Joy then amped up their game by building a giant mechanical contraption to "marmalize" its victims - the park's Smiler roller coaster. A competing Ministry of Sound then took over a roller coaster at Merlin's Thorpe Park. Kind of a cool idea.
July 15, 201412 yr I like it better as well. The teasers that have been posted go well with the "Centurion" name.
