Does it look like it will be a pretty small crowd, comparing it to past Saturdays?

Definitely.  This is the lightest Saturday  so far

I spent nearly 2 hours in the queue for White Water Canyon. -The exit queue, that is! I had a bunch of extra laundry quarters in my Kings Island fanny pack, and it was weighing down a bit, so I decide

Were Firehawk and WindSeeker also closed? And did the others ever open?

Don't know about Firehawk but WindSeeker has been running all day  along with Drop Tower

I'm surprised at the crowd level, considering the temperature.

The Bat did operate but it was the only Arrow coaster open today.

At 11:30am temp is not really getting any warming today.

It was about the same temperature yesterday right so most of the big coasters should open at some point. I really wanted to use my bring a friend ticket today but he hasnt been in years so if all the big rides are closed... :/

I'm heading to the park now. Does anybody know what the crowd is like? I don't anticipate the crowds being very big today though.

Only 4 coasters are still closed, Adventure Express, stunt coaster, Invertigo, and Vortex.  Lines are about 5-10 minutes.

3.5 weeks for Mystic Timbers; 5 to 6 months for the rest of the coasters.

Yes. It's kind of a tradition for someone to post something along those lines at the end of each season. :) See previous years' posts:

It goes without saying that the current wait time for anything at the Island right now is roughly five and a half months. You're welcome. :):P

I'm just so sad it's over.  I think off-season blues are a thing.  Anyone else?

They are most definitely a thing.

Well, those aren't quite accurate what with Winterfest approaching.  They are true for the other 90% of the park though. ;)

Current wait time for Kings Islands Giga: 1.5+ years...

Somebody HAD to do it!

DB, being that somebody who did it

Off-season depression is definitely a thing for me. I discovered last year that it's a little easier if I go out and walk at a nearby park every day, because, being a housewife, it can be too easy for me to go into hibernation and only leave the house once a week or so. Having friends on the boards and elsewhere to talk to also make it easier to take.

I'm glad the off-season will be shorter this year.

I try to pack my off season with other activities....like I leave for NYC next Thursday evening.

We also have done some KIC meetups throughout the off season too, between the 2016 and 2017 season we did meet ups like Bowling near Columbus, Ohio as well as visiting the Air Force Museum in Dayton and Carowinds opening weekend.

I think it would be cool if we could all try and due a meet up at KD for the Opening of Twisted Timbers. I remember I missed you guys at Carowinds by 1 week. I went down the following weekend.
