i live about an hour away from Cedar Point and i was thinking of going this sunday? i dont know what to expect in terms of crowds. It is supposed to rain on saturday and be sunny on sunday. I am a platinum pass holder so i will be there for ERT. I am bringing my gopro chest mount to film some stuff and i hope i dont get caught.

You may film anything you want as long as you do NOT do so on any rides. Even with a chest mount, the only ride at Cedar Point on which cameras or other electronic devices are allowed is the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad.

Like others have said, please don't use the GoPro. Even though you said you've done it before, that is breaking the law. I don't mean to be Mr. Partypooper, but just follow all the park's policies especially regarding stuff like this.

I can't wait for the park to open! This is been a long off season.

I wore an arm band for running and i got povs for Firehawk with my ipod, the ride guy didnt even care.

Everyone please keep in mind that none of us are here to ruin anyone's fun. It's just that there are plenty of other ways to do it at amusement parks than illegally taking pictures and videos. Granted I'm only in high school, but I do know that posting pictures and saying you have done illegal activity on the Internet is not a good idea at all.

Do not broadcast illegal activity...it is dumb. I do not care what you do but I advise no camera. I say that because you risk being thrown out. I am sure it would be safe and very likely do no harm, but you could waste money because of it. Take it from me..if you are doing something that is "frowned upon" do not tell people about it.

That said I expect VERY heavy crowds! Every weekend, let alone opening weekend, will be very crowded at CP

Well he described his strategy, and how he looks high all the time, so I would just ban all hoodies on opening weekend. Simple.
