What to you think will be going in the circle in Action Zone? I'm hoping Flying Eagles!

I'm going to say that they will put some flower beds with some benches, maybe a park map, and lighting directed at Banshee. That's my opinion, I think it wouldn't be very smart to put an actual ride in there. It'd get waaayyy too congested.

Or they could put a huge park map in the middle then put glass over it. That would be so cool!

As much as I would love a ride there, My vote is going for benches and flowers.

Whatever it is, I don't think it's any of these.

I feel like this topic is necessary here, I infact almost posted this exact topic for week X. I say that we could see either green space(theming/etc), lockers, or a entry way to the Coaster Connection, due to what I can already tell.

I never thought of it that way! that's an awesome idea for an entry way for Coaster Connection!

I think it is most likely green space with flowers and benches....

But what if it was a projected light show similar to the one below (of course there would be some kind of motion involved....I think CP had some kind of light package similar to this installed last year (or the year before) on the main midway.

Seriously, you guys are thinking this area is so big. It can probably just fit a tree, some flowers, and benches. Not a whole new ride or a stage for Luminosity.

Mr. Ouimet has made clear Luminosity is not a traveling show. Great for Cedar Point. Elsewhere? Meh.

Plus being honest I don't see myself walking around the park a bit after closing or getting food, etc after rides close...

Oh I don't think KI would install a full blown show there, perhaps just a light show that plays after dark to give the plaza a "wow factor" for night visitors. I could imagine little children playing in the lights moving along the ground for entertainment while part of their group is riding rides. Sort of like a night time version of a play fountain.

Honestly if they ever did something like the scream contest...it was nice having a live dj and music in that area

^^ Good point. Now you could be on to something, if you look at the area that was resurfaced in front of the On Location building....It could be a place for a DJ station.

Well I'm the only one that voted for Flying Eagles. More of wishing it to be true and what a great surprise it would be if that was it.

I'm happy that the circle is being changed. That's good progress towards changing that whole area. But if it happened to be Flying Eagles I would be just as excited for them as Banshee and I'm sure there would be a whole lot of people that would love it also.

Flying Eagles never actually "closed" per say, just flew away from KI to Carowinds.

(I know more than likely via truck but I had this really bad mental image of the ride growing wings and flying away)

I agree with Devarious about having a DJ in Action Zone. On Opening Day and the one night I went to Haunt last season, I loved hearing the great music!

I first joined when I was twelve but I'm now 14. Some other members here have grown to become great posters here even if they join under-age.

I voted Fountain because that would be very cool. I mean planters and gardens and benches are great but fountains are way cooler.
