I was on www.screamscape.com yesterday and they said that they are Great America is going to get the Italian Job roller coaster for the 2005 season. I think because they have lost two coasters and they don't have any dark ride either. Do anybody know or heard anything about it. Plus i heard that Pki is going to get The Adams Family roller coaster. Some one help me.

Man thats like Crazy but here is a Fair warning most of Screamscape is just Fan Boys or Girls reporting stuff so be careful! I was told that PGA was getting a Scooby Dark Ride.But I would like to see the Addams Family Coaster in PKI it would fit almost perfectly

But it was Screamscape that gave us that brief "glimpse" of what was inside the Tomb before it opened. I remember seeing the blue prints.

I find that screamscape is pretty reliable. They knew about CP's Wicked Twister and Top Thrill Dragster before any official announcements. And, I also did see the blueprints for TR:TR before the press release as well. All I have to say is that if PKI is going with the Addams Family coaster, it better be a doozy. I won't be entirely happy with a B&M Dive Machine. But, I'm sure the theming will be top notch.

I wouldn't mind having a B&M Dive Machine in the park, such a ride would be almost exclusive to the United States, because I know that there are only two in existence. Purchasing a good dive machine and theming it well, it could make a GREAT thrill ride...I can see lots of head choppers and close calls as part of the track design.

I hpoe that we get it because i have never been on a dive machine and it will attract more people plus we need a new coaster. Our last coaster was Son of Beast and it has been 4 years since we had a major new coaster. So i hope to see some kind of new major roller coaster for the 2005 season.

WoW that would be Awsome if PKI got the Addams Family Coaster,Yeah ScreamScape was were i found out about Scooby Doo and The Haunted Castle.

That's possible because of the survey, but I think you need to read screamscape a little more closely. For PGA it says:

2005 - Rumor - (4/2/04) While I was busy taking a guess last time about PGA being the only park without a Scooby Doo dark ride, our latest rumor leapfrogs that need into something even better. Our source tells us that PGA may become home to a heavily themed coaster ride, possible one of the two ideas shown in that Paramount Survey a few months ago (Italian Job & The Addams Family). In an interesting way, this ride could fit PGA’s need for both a dark ride and a new roller coaster all in one.

(3/31/04) As much as PGA needs a new coaster in ‘05 to replace the two they lost last year (Tidal Wave & Stealth), I think the odds on favorite for a new ride may be the addition of a Scooby Doo dark ride. PGA is the last park in the entire chain to not have one with PCW getting the first one in 1999, followed by Carowinds in ‘01, PKI in 2003 and PKD in 2004. Anything is still possible at this point, but trends are often more accurate than rumors when trying to predict the future.

^In this its saying it could be either a Scooby Doo ride or the Italian Job, and it does say it's just a rumor. Screamscape has lots of rumors for every park, only some of them are accurate.

Also, for PKI they don't mention an Addams Family ride anywhere... although it's quite possible.

well it's just the beginning of the 2004 season so we still have a long road to walk until finding out more info. Personally, i think the Addam's Family rumor sounds the most possible so far, but it's just a matter of time before we know the truth.

I missed out on this survey for the Adams Famliy/Itailan Job coaster. does anyone have a site or any information on this stuff for me becuase i feel so left out right now.

It was just a survey of which Concept you liked Better a Addams Family Coaster with a Huge Preshow inside the Addams Family house Or the Italian Job Car Chase Coaster Where you would be able to get in your own Mini Cooper drive Insane like.

I like the Addams Family idea the best it Fits Pki Plus i think having a Coaster Fly around a graveyard and then Back into the Addams Family attic would rock!!!

If they can really theme some of that stuff good then I think the Addams Family would be amazing if it was big enough. With a mansion about the size of the castle from Dueling Dragons that could become a major force to be reckoned with in the world of theming.

A topic about a rumor from ScreamScape pertaining to PKI is bad enough but now one concerning PGA? Egh, sorry folks....
