The winner of each round wins passes to Banshee Media Day and advances to the finals held on October 26 for the chance to win a trip for two to Los Angeles which includes tickets to Knott's Berry Farm

I wonder why they have that policy? seems odd since you would think they would want you to be able to see and possibly have eye protection.

Who knows? I've argued with them until they were blue in the face. No other California nor Cedar Fair park has such an inane, inflexible, stupid policy.

Sounds like an ADA violation...they should be able to reasonably accommodate anyone who must wear glasses to board and disembark from any ride....it could be unsafe to do so without the appropriate eyewear.

Wonder if the new top dog could fix that problem, if addressed directly?

^^ You wrote to corporate, not the park?

Your eye protection issue seems to be with Knott's Berry Farm, not (directly) with Cedar Fair, L.P.

Prescription Ski goggles?

That would make Terp look like this mess...and I think he'd rather not look like this...nor hopefully anyone else here on this board...We finally rid one member of the dreaded man car stealing fanny pack..

Just wow.....I wonder how many people have bought their ticket only to know they won't be able to wear glasses....bad policy that might offend possible repeat visitors...you for instance.

We finally rid one member of the dreaded man car stealing fanny pack..

Not so fast. I only have cargo shorts, not long cargo pants or the money to buy long cargo pants at this time. So the fanny pack may still come out this fall if it's too cold for shorts. :)

Just get a pair of military spec pants...all the room in your pants you could dream of (man that sounds dirty)

I suggest multicams...beatiful camo, very fun, and very effective camo...probably only set ya back 50-ish maybe 30 if you find a good vendor that'll sell em at the price we can get em

I don't have the money for anything right now, and it's still up in the air as to whether I'll have the money for new pants next month at all.

My jorts and cargo shorts are 30s, while my long jeans are a 32. Either would probably be fine.

Also, let's say you are required to remove glasses on a coaster (let's say Ghost Rider). At that point, you cannot see well enough to read posted signage. You stupidly decide to stand up, and you fall to your death. Since they would not allow you to wear glasses (and in so doing, rendered you unable to read the sign) then is the park legally liable for your death in the almost certain lawsuit that would follow?

Also, to be a bit less morbid and bring this topic back on topic:

If I end up seeing you this week I may bring a pair...it'll come close, but we shall see..Also for cold weather the 100% cotton ABU's are nice and thick, pretty good for cold weather..

Being a native Ohioan...I'll wear the ripstop abu (50% cotton, 50% poly) that's thin (our summerweight) and still be fine however haha

I happen to find that look quite dashing. I rock the big black glasses, myself. I think I look like a Rok Stah!

I feel bad for the dude in the backround who has to listen to all of that...

They could be louder if they were not bending over blocking the airways.

Double post to say that I just saw on Facebook that KICer 1lillybug (I think that's her screen name) won the 8:00 contest. Laura and I did the 9:00 contest.

Video: A look at some of the contestants from this past Friday night's "Scream Like a Banshee" competition for a chance to win a trip for two (2) to L.A.

I love how the Haunt greeter is running the competition. He's my favorite thing about Halloween Haunt.
