August 19, 201312 yr Author So is the house inside old fort coney haunted? That depends.....do you believe in ghost? Yes
August 21, 201312 yr I'd really like to see Cedar Fair fix up some of those buildings on the train ride, Fort Coney is looking really ragged.
September 24, 201411 yr Is Old Fort Coney still in the park? Does anyone have pictures of the old house inside the fort?
September 24, 201411 yr yes....beating Terp to the bunch on at least the 2nd part. Don't know about the 1st part, but not sure why they'd take it down unless they were going to do something with that area.
September 24, 201411 yr The sun was just right when I rode the train on Sunday that I could make out the roof of the house inside the fort through the gaps of the fort boards. No idea what shape it is in, but it's apparently still there.
September 24, 201411 yr Yeah, the house is still there. You can see the chimney rather easily from the train. The house is in really rough shape. I wouldn't want to live there. They use it for storage of random stuff. I think they have old Drop Tower restraints in there.

September 30, 201411 yr Why am I just now seeing that old aerial shot on page 2? Anyone know the story with the strange labels on said picture? Edit: Educate me. Was the train route altered after that aerial picture was taken? If so, presumably for the addition of the waterpark?
September 30, 201411 yr No definite answers here, but I think I recall reading about a re-routing due to the opening of Water Works.
September 30, 201411 yr Bring back the nostalgia of the ride, not just a transport to the Soak City, but it was awesome at Winter Fest when it came back a story, a talk, and theme.
