Changes on Tomb Raider

Featured Replies

Did anyone notice the skeletons on Tomb Raider? They are up in the ice. I rode it yesterday and noticed them, I didn't know if they were new for this year or not. Also, I think the water squirts are squirting higher this year, I rode the front row, 2nd from the right (2nd person in the 1st row) and got shot right in the leg, it got my leg all soaked! Are these new changes, or did I just not notice them before now?

they have been there the whole time... in fact, i laughed at them the first time i rode it. laugh.gif

Yeah, they were there from day one. But, you are correct in thinking that the geysers shot higher and with more pressure, because they did.

The water started shooting up higher at the end of last year. If you think about it, it was really silly because at the end of last year it was cold out. Your lucky that you only got shot in the leg. Last year I was sitting next to someone who got drilled in the face. It was so funny but I felt sorry for him because he must have been so cold when he went outside.

Yesterday the ride crapped out right after the geysers got my friend in the face. It was pretty funny.

When did they add the new pouches for holding things. Now they are bigger and have a zipper, I remember early last year they were clear and didn't zip. Are those new this year?

No, those were put in the middle of last season.

-The Skeletens have always been there.

-The water is suppose to hit you per the sign posted outside the building.

-The pouches were changed in the middle of last season, the pouches zip shut and are slightly bigger.

I never got hit with the water... Is it one of those things they just say incase it does hit you? I have only had the water drip on me from the ceiling or something.

yea. i remember the pouches being there when i rode last october. what were they like before if they didn't zip? could stuff fall out easily? biggrin.gif

i got hit right in the gut and was wet for about half the day!!!! i loved getting wet from the little drops that fall from the ceiling. hehe

Thank God they put those pouches in last year! We had so many people lose things on that ride that fell out of the old pouches. Why in the world they didn't start out with a zipper pouch is beyond me and why people would need to use them is also a mystery b/c they aren't supposed to bring things on the ride to begin with!

well if you are like me and wear glasses you will see why those pouches have become very important. I really think that they are just trying to look out for those of us who can't see with out them. it would be a way to preven some injuries!

I have a tendency to hang on to my glasses in my hand or put them in a pocket (gotta love the flex frames!) or wear them. I haven't had them fall off once on TR. Then again, I would hate to lose them but I still don't think I would trust the pouch... I tend to kick at it when dangling upside down.

you have a point there and I thought that i was the only one who did that on tr! i find if you do that you get a little more air time!!!!
