The main change to X2 was the lighter trains, I believe.

Hey! there is a construction vehicle that might have a bucket lift between the Sky Flyer and Drop Tower....looks like something may get some paint today! (or not....could be lifting something...)

The Skyflyer painting is moving right along.. Now it looks like they're doing something with paint and Drop Tower... Hmmm

I'm ready to see some trains moving on the track!! Wonder when the last train will arrive?

I have a feeling we will see the first test run either today or tomorrow with the temperature finally getting above 40. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in yhe 50's.

The white paint on Skyflyer looks awesome! Much better than its natural silver color! Now if they paint Drop Tower I'd love to see them do a new color scheme on it. Guess we'll wait and see if it actually gets painted or not.

If they are painting Skyflyer, I'd like to see SlingShot painted as well.

If they are painting Skyflyer, I'd like to see SlingShot painted as well.

It is possible that the decisions to paint Skyflyer and SlingShot would not be made by the same people.

FWIW, there were 2 bucket lifts and a crane out by the big KI sign near the interstate this morning. I'd assume its part of routine offseason maintance, but perhaps a little change in the signage is in the workds.

All webcams up, no major activity involving a ride moving. I'd be surprised if they start moving today that's pretty good

Now my question, is the third train there and installed yet?

Cams down again..getting suspicious...May have to get a room at GWL here soon haha I'm ganna keep watching

I noticed Drop Tower is near testing. The gondola and the other thing (not sure what to call it) are both at the bottom!

FWIW, there were 2 bucket lifts and a crane out by the big KI sign near the interstate this morning. I'd assume its part of routine offseason maintance, but perhaps a little change in the signage is in the workds.

If so, then a search of the Mason City Council or similar body would show if such an improvement was on the agenda. It wouldn't be a bad upgrade IMO to have an LED sign with flashing animations and whatnot.

Man, this thread is so hard to keep up with! I still have a lot of catching up to do. Let's just say I'm waaay behind.

Anyway, Banshee's opening can't get here soon enough. Even though I won't be able to go to the park until June, I can't wait to finally get to ride it!
