We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

Could someone get a skyline pick from the road of how Banshee looks compared to the rest of KI? That would be pretty cool.

That's the best I've got for now.

That was taken a couple weekends back.

If someone takes a pic of Banshee, you should get one of The Bat as well. It's looking really great so far.

I can't wait for the station to be done! For some reason that is one of my favorite parts of riding a new roller coaster. I always remember the first time I walled into Diamondbacks station, and I can't wait for Banshees to be complete.

The station coloring doesn't seem to be as bright (luckily) as it looked when less of exterior was done.

I noticed on earlier pics of the station that there was a little window right next to where the train exits the station on the left...and now I don't see an opening for it.

The concept art sometimes deviates from the final product. The window, which is for the operator, was relocated to the side of the station.

Pretty sure the side without the scaffolding in the pic above is the finished exterior.

Not sure what you guys are talking about but thought I would point that out.

I was really hoping that they would make the final product look like the rendering...especially little things like the wing wall and popout for the entrance to the gift shop on the bottom. Its those little things that give it character....but they still may yet put them in...we will see

I think the small window you're talking about will be there. If you look at the picture posted on Twitter on 01/31 it shows the window from the outside. And in one of the pictures Don recently sent over, although it appears bigger, you can see the framed opening from the inside.

But the thing I like most about the station is the woodwork. Can't wait to see it in person.

If you look at the webcam, it looks like they are removing the left side of the Stunt Crew Grill. So if that's true what about Slaughterhouse?!

They could easily redesign it, or just do away with it.

And I'm not so sure anything is even happening there..

Yeah there is no way anyone can tell, from what we can see on the webcam, if anything is actually happening to what might of use to be Stunt Crew Grill.

I swear I saw something!

Everyone sees something, unless you are unfortunate enough to be blind.

-Coasterama, who just had to go there.

^ Is that building used as a station or just as a near-miss element? Or both?

It's near miss element and part of the theming. The whole ride is apocolypse themed. I don't believe that is the station though, as I am not quite so familiar with the ride itself.

The foreground of the structure is indeed a near-miss element, but the background is part of the station.

Everyone is wondering if the free standing wall has been erected. If you check the webcam late in the day, it sure looks to me like you can see the point on top of it. You can even see it in the capture above. ^^

I'm sure the wall must have a purpose. I'm guessing it is to block the view of the old SOB station for most people in the new Banshee station.
