We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

Less than 90 days!

if they open at 9 am, opening day is 89 days and 11 hours away!:)

A lot can happen in nearly 3 months!
I hope to pass the time by not thinking about the park all the time!

Seriously though, even after erection of a ride is complete, there can still be some exciting milestones such as queue area being finished, stations being finished, and of course the ride beginning its testings.

Also, even though visible progress won't be as often, we can perhaps pay more attention to a ride's repainting ;)

Looks like work on Banshee's station and (possibly) queue line, are underway this morning at the construction site....

are they putting seats back on Delirium?

I believe those seats have been there the whole time. I don't remember seeing them removed, as with the seats on Drop Tower. Unless of course i've been paying too much attention to Banshee :P

Are they actually working today? I LOVE IT it if they are......tired of virtually EVERYTHING being closed or just stopping all together on sundays.

The question is, will they be working tomorrow on MLK day?

Ooooo that's a good point Coasterama. I don't know. I know that at the architectural firm I work at, we have to work. Its a federal holiday. So I don't know how the steel unions do their holidays.

Sunday is a religious holiday for many, and normally requires premium compensation for construction workers.

Also, avoid Chick-Fil-A on Sundays.

As long as track installation is completed by the end of the week, I'm good.

When I saw all of the progress from the past week or so, here is my reaction:

My guess is that they had to make a decision on whether to work Sunday or Monday or work Saturday the next week so they could still work a five day week.

They seemingly left early Friday and did not work yesterday. It seems like a strange schedule to me but I'm sure there is a reason.

maybe at this point they work on the days that are snow/rain free when they can. I cant blame them for that.

My friends job makes him do this as well. It really kind of ruins the point of having that extra day off.

Some jobs don't see holidays...work must go on

Right now I'm fortunate being a clinic..the only thing is my doc is on call..so if she gets called in guess what..
