Looks like the first set of a-frame supports, those are some short supports. Looks as if the track will be close to the ground at the bottom of the first drop.

This is quite an exciting day. And if you take a pencil, line it parallel to the track before the slope up to the lift (rotate horizontally),

Then angle up to match the lift parallel (angle up),then move your perspective to the side of the pencil. Huzzah! I think the lift is 40*

I'm guessing that the lift hill is as high as it's going to go until the loop around it is finished.

Seeing that they are working on the bottom of the drop, I'm wondering if they will run from there through the dive loop and back to the lift loop so they can still use Clifford. If that's the case I'd think they'd leave the top of the loop off to make the lift track installation easier. After that its finish the lift, top off the loop and start working their way towards the back end of the ride.

I think you are right....we may see that the first two to three elements completed before the end of the season, at the pace they are moving now...

I wonder where the extra cost is for the ride is coming from. This ride is Banshee is cost the park 2 more million to build than Diamondback yet Banshee is 1,158ft shorter. Has the cost of steel went up that much, design cost more, or trains?

I think the cost is higher because the steel has gone up in the last 4-5 years, and it seems inverts require more steel than a coaster about the same length where the track rests on the supports. Just an observation.

Ugh, as much as I love being in Japan right now it sucks that everytime I go to see the webcam it is dark (13 hour difference)

The other side of that support is going up now and the top A-frame section is already assembled on the ground.

They could easily have the lift and drop done by next weekend.

Seems to me that the biggest bottleneck for getting this ride up is how fast track pieces are being produced. Adena always works quickly. Wild Eagle was seemingly put up overnight, as they had loads of track and supports delivered before the bulk of the vertical construction started. I'd imagine you'll see elements put up just about as fast as they can produce the track pieces.

Unlike with Diamondback construction there are very few areas of public access they have to work around. It's going to be awesome to potentially see the lift hill, drop, and the first few inversions from the midways before the season ends!

Looks like on the first drop you will get pretty close to the ground.

They have topped off the next support and it is really high! It also looks like a pigeon poo'd on the camera.
