New for Soak City! Starts June 21st

This is not a dive coaster. Nobody guessed this. Sounds like fun!

This sounds like fun. Most of the movies are geared toward children but Jurassic Park stands out as the most interesting to me.

What's interesting is that these movie nights take place on Fridays, I would have guessed they would have done them on Saturdays to coincide with the midnight hours starting on the 29th.

Sounds great. Soak City really needed that. Now there will be a ton of competition between Soak City and The Beach.

Think we know what the Diving in on plans means now! So I still have high hopes of the mystery construcion being a B&M Giga!

I definitely need to cut out time for the Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo showings.

Here in Charleston we do something similar but it happens on every Wednesday of June, I stopped going after I got jumped with some friends while waiting on our ride to come. I knew it was in a bad part of town but still, there was people there and everything.

Crazy for sure that they would put undo pressure on the BEACH, but competition is the simple fabric built all over the USA:

It could be placed on Fridays because they want to raise Friday crowds to meet the same attendance as Saturday crowds...Thats my guess.....

And to quickly combine 2 topics with (no seriousness included).....What if the green roller coaster track is for a dive coaster at Kings Island and it dives over the "dive in theatre" screens. ( Thought I would make pretend for a moment.....)

Now my mind is running! A new haunt attraction:

Make the wave pool heated, and run Jaws on the screen!

Probably because it's a Disney movie about two animated characters and a little girl who doesn't fear them.

Just a guess though.

You'll be in the park until almost midnight anyway, with movies starting at dusk (initially ~9:40pm).

I wonder if Soak City's hours will be extended these days, so there's something to do there before the film starts. I also wonder if they'll prevent people from crossing over to Soak City after Kings Island closes at 10:00. (What if they have a locker rented there?)

I don't get Jurassic Park's PG-13 rating. There's little to no blood and language. The only real graphic scene is the bathroom scene, but you can't actually see any blood.

This is great! If only some of the water park attractions would remain open......I've always hoped the waterpark would stay open later....pasty white people burn so easily, and night swimming is my thing....

My guess is the waves will not be operating....LOL that could be funny trying to watch a movie and control an inner tube.

I can't wait to go!

Scenes of terror, most likely. People getting eaten by dinosaurs, and, of course, the scene with the mangled, bloody goat leg falling on the roof of the Jeep. Oh, and don't forget the severed arm that lands on Ellie's shoulder.

Oh...lol...I forget. Haven't seen the movie in a few years. I honestly just remember people getting chased by velociraptors, and the T-Rex.

Perhaps Cedar Fair's market research concluded more people watch movies on Friday as opposed to Saturday. Or it's just to bolster Friday attendance, since Saturday is already the busiest day of the week for them.

Jurassic Park 3D this year was awesome. I love that movie. A lot.

Kings Island needs to stop planning so many fun activities while I am so far away!
