  • Well its been a fun one.. So long Starting to Decode 2014!

  • You know, I chuckle at this thread. The more I read it... which is pretty much daily now... the more I become amused. Why? It's a near carbon copy of about a dozen other threads related to KI throu

For those waiting for when we'll announce what we're building for the future, you might want to grab yourself a Snickers bar. It's going to be awhile. We still have the majority of the 2013 season

Yes. I seed it. Or at least some of it. Terp does sleep. Guffaw. And work. And sometimes even recreate (as in recreation\play).

I think I've figured out what's going in.

It's an inverted looping launched flying wooden giga coaster made by Intamin with green steel frames for the inversions with Diamondback-style trains and themed to Scooby-Doo.

They'll have lawyers and morticians camped outside the exit ready for your business.

It is almost july. There is no new b&m track at the factory. Its pointing to a intamin.

Right. Because there aren't hundreds of other manufacturers out there like Zierer, Gerstlauer, PTC, RMC, Premier, or Vekoma that could be creating this coaster.

Neither of you seemed to mention Mack Rides, which is a company that I haven't heard quite a few of you name. Remember, Cedar Fair did install a Mack wild mouse coaster at Knotts last year and it sure was a Coast Rider! Along with that, Mack is also kind-of into the dark ride business...Amusement Dark anyone?

Not saying it would be a wild-mouse, just throwing out the idea of getting a Mack ride in general, whether that be a wild mouse or launched coaster or even a Mack dark ride.

You can throw the Theming out the door, because sadly.. this isn't Paramount anymore.

Do we really think there will be less theming? Curious what everybody thinks. Maybe the background with Disney will change that. The area they're building in seems perfect for theming.

Maverick has a good theme at Cedar Point they have a good theming

The GP could have as much fun as they want vandalizing it. Although, would it really be vandalizing if it's the theme? Perhaps they should let people draw on supports, fences, etc. nearby.

How about sticking used gum on one of the posts in the queue line? Such a novel idea!

At Geauga Lake, this was out of control, especially in the Vekoma SLC station. The park even put up bulletin boards and asked that graffiti be restricted to them. It wasn't.

What themeing does Gatekeeper have since that is under the new CEO (who has the Disney background)?

THE_BEASTmaster, who likes to ask these things.

I hope everyone knows I wasn't being serious. I just remember the gum wall in The Beast's queue line - it was awful!

Please friends - keep the park clean.

Lets say Kings Island future is so bright we all need shades :)

What if Congo Falls is being dropped from the Action Zone ride line up?

More people must ride it to ensure it stays open. Who's with me?

I think you are all wet.

Yes we will be getting soaked, but it's for a good cause.

They won't get rid of Congo Falls

Some day, they will.

See Kings Dominion. Or Six Flags Great Adventure.

Nothing is forever.

For just 100 nickels, FUN will make a feeble, unsuccessful attempt to dry you and your family.

Fixed.

"Always make a “splash” when “dropping” by Action Zone!"

OBVIOUSLY it's a dive coaster with a splashdown...
