Of course, Great Adventure used to make it really easy. During Fright Fest, they'd hang a huge black spider on the side of a doomed attraction. Inevitably, the following year, it'd be gone.

I'm sure something is planned for that space. I can't see KI tearing down SOB until something was planned. Cheaper to do everything at one time instead of bringing in equipment twice.

Odd. I've been around this business more than 40 years. I have NEVER heard that quote used. Not even once.

Son of Beast 2.0? I just have a feeling we have not seen the last of a roller coaster with a Beast theme.

I'd be shocked and amazed if that happened. You didn't see the Hercules name reused at Dorney. Nor The Bat reused at Kings Island.

Has there been any talk about how a section of the MCBR already torn down? You can see if from Top Gun lift hill (at the top)

There is also a crane at Kings Island currently for SOB.

I highly doubt that equipment will stay at Ki for their next big attraction. If this was true, they would have probably already announced the new ride/coaster.

Just my thoughts, could always be wrong.
