Kings Island earns high marks in a new Survey

Featured Replies

A new travel guide for families was released on Tuesday by Zagat survey. PKI ranked fourth in the category "top-rated by child appeal." Ahead of the park was Magic House in St. Louis, followed by Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Additionally, Kings Island was ranked the second best amusement park. Cedar Point was ranked the best amusement park. For the full article, which also includes how other Cincinnati area attractions ranked, click here.

If pki is second to any other park, I would like it to be CP because it is a great park

Yeah, so how did we come in 4th in child appeal? I mean, seriously! While I'm glad we got publicity from this, I think these people haven't been to alot of amusement parks.

Why did they come in 4th? Look at whom they are being compared to...Disney. PKI has a great kids area, but Disney is way ahead of them on what they have to offer to them. Not to say PKI is bad or anything, but they are no Disney. Besides, this is how PKI is marketing itself now. And, they should be proud to be compared to a juggernaut like Disney.

As long as we get recognized for something that we are doing well I am all for it, publicity is publicity. Doesnt matter if it is for HB or AZ its all good for the park which means more people. I just wish it was more for Az instead of kiddie world tongue.gif
