April 10, 201214 yr Rides come and go. Kings Island is a different place now than what it was even five years ago. Things change, and there is nothing we can do about it. If things didn`t change, look where we would be now. There would be no internet, or computers. Simple things like communication are now instantaneous, whereas before, you often would have to wait for letters to arrive via snail mail.
April 10, 201214 yr here's a question- wonder if any of the thousands of trees cleared for SOB got reused in it's construction.
April 10, 201214 yr Paul, That shot of the Eiffel Tower is so amazing for so many reasons! You have a remarkable eye for angles and catching intriguing action. Thanks again for sharing!
April 10, 201214 yr Oh that reminds me of one time I went to Math and Science Day with my middle school ( we had to build roller coasters models and discuss the mechanics of them) and when we were there, there were some schools that had to find the height of the Eiffel Tower by measuring it's shadow. *shudders*
April 10, 201214 yr I do have to say. I love the pics from the '90s. So many memories that come flying back when I see those pics

April 11, 201214 yr I know a lot of people would rather have the red color for Flight Deck but it doesn't look right in my opinion...

I have to agree. there is only one ride in that photo that is still in operation today and a couple of them weren't even replaced with something new.

April 14, 201214 yr Having worked at Sky Tours in 2005, that sign brings back a lot of memories. It still amazes me that people are willing to wait 45 minutes for that ride.
April 14, 201214 yr That's because the little ones love it so much. That makes it worth it. Not all of life needs be spent in the Fast Lane.
