Pure genius? (you may have already figured this out). I'm going to let the pics speak for themselves...

I didn't notice WindSeeker was in the first picture. I don't really find what's too interesting about them being in a line.

It must be the new world order. They're gonna take over the world ya know?

On the real: I never noticed. Thank you for brining that to my attention, it is alittle interesting to say the least....

Not sure of the significence, but if you follow the line of intersection for 2,291 miles, you'll land in a place called Kingstown, on an Island called St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Or from what was once called Kings Mills, you can head East a state or three, and end up at Kingsmill, from which you can't hear a B and M roar, due to sand filled rails!

Ooh, ooh... and, from the Eiffel Tower, if you line up Dodge 'Em with Zephyr and go like, 530 some miles, you'll end up on Kings Island, NC! ( I've gotta shut down my Google Earth and get back to work...)

I would have thought that WS would have affected the skyline at the vantage point at which many visitors snap a photo (Kings Island's "trademark" spot?). However, at that point, which you can see in the bottom pic I posted, WS "disappears". Seems like too big of a coincidence to me...and a placement that would have taken a bit of planning to execute correctly.

If your first picture was the the placement of WS for the last picture, WS would look like a small ride. You know what the GP would be saying about it by looking at friends pics. "Look at Joe's picture in front of the fountain, WS is half the size of the EF it is not a tall ride at all."

Intentional or not, placing WS behind the ET for that picture location is really brilliant! Honestly, I never really understood why WS was placed where it is from a logistical standpoint. It was not until opening day and seeing the way it looked coming down CM did I understand how awesome it was in it's current location. Now seeing it hidden from the famous ET shot it makes even more sense. Thanks for showing us that KiFan73!

If you move WS to be centered in the middle of action theater, it may have slide over far enough so that you could see it in a dead forward shot of the Eiffel Tower when taken from the center of the fountains, hard to tell for sure using bingmaps.

which may or may not have been the original intent, could have just been a coincidence.

Perhaps the reason it wasn't placed b/w The Racers is more simple than that. 1) it fits into the space where it is today and 2) if action theater is ever ripped out and something put into its place, there is a lot more room to work there. had they put wind seeker in that spot, it could have cut off an area of the park for future instillation.

Behind Vortex, there is a lot of uncleared land with a decent amount of elevation change. Behind The Racer, extending around The Racer so as not to interfer with the atmosphere of The Beast, there are 2 decent sized areas that have been cleared already and would be easier to do any site work for a future coaster, should they choose that location.

Sometimes decisions are made not by what is best for the present, but by what gives you the most options for the future.

I really don't find it all that interesting.

Anybody ever notice how Power Tower fits perfectly inside Top Thrill Dragster if you line them up?
