I was at the park today, and was checking out Dinosaurs Alive for the first time when I noticed this road off to the side...

and in a clearing through the trees, I could see this Caterpillar chewing up and spitting out foliage...

I was told it had to do with the dinosaur that burnt up...

Thats very interesting....

Shew.... I read the post first and got worried about a burial of an old dinosaur then realized it was you who posted that, I do not worry no more.

I may be Gone With The Wind, so to speak, but I ain't that far gone!

Possibly just another expansion to DA! in the future. I can tell they will add more as the years go on. In my opinion, there was so much space leftover and so much space between dinosaurs that they could make a whole museum out that area!

If I had to guess I would say that in the rush to get the exhibit opened with the short time they decided to go with it this year and all the rain during that time, then they cut down the trees and removed the stumps they pulled them out to the open area you seen. At a later time (like when you seen it) do the removal or chipping of the rubbish.

You know that if those dinos have sex at night, they're gonna have off-spring and those little ones are gonna need a playground.

Only someone like me would tend to think that CF is not gonna pay for after hours security!

Really Hank? Their playground can be the midway! When I personally talked to Don about this he DID say that over the years they would be adding more dinosaurs. But, maybe something for 2012?

Maybe there going to expand it to include just not land dinosaurs but to include the dinosaurs in the ocean.

It'd be nice if this was where a new ride would go in for next year. If something new is being added, putting it there would explain why we've seen no progress

If I`m not mistaken, that field in the picture in question is not far from the fireworks launching pad area.

Really are they doing all of this for the possible crowds flocking to the new Arch Encounter?

But it should be a pay one price admission for the whole park!!!! Or a second gate for ones just wanting to see Dino!

They should make some kind of a DA season pass.

Could it be for 2012's DA expansion? Kings Island has said that they plan on expanding it a little every year.
