  • Such a gem. I mean Terpy, not the rides in question. As he approaches 50,000 posts, and can be frustrating as heck, a true asset for this site.

  • Well, what do you know!.... Here is one for sale in Florida.... http://usedrides.com/ViewAd.aspx?Ad=23551&view=I and there is still plenty of room in Octoberfest for one...

  • I have a btter picture of the mouse at Coney that I'll have to look for, however in the meantime here's a pic of it. Now bear in mind this is a pic of the flooding at Coney Island in the early 1960s.

I would love to see the park how it was back in 1972. Alas, given my lack of age and a time machine (cue Doctor Who pun), this seems out of reach. But really, great photo.

The only Pavillion in Myrtle Beach now is very small with a few flats. They had a small coaster there in 2011, but when I went last summer, no coaster at all. However, a traveling carnival popped up and my son and I rode a Wild Cat type of coaster, which was expensive. Heck, I wouldn't call it a Pavillion at all.

I'm on board 100%! If you ask me, it was a terrible idea to remove it in the first place and its high time for Oktoberfest to make a comeback and what better way than with Bavarian Beetle making a comeback!
