Expensive?

Featured Replies

Not reall that surprising when you consider the enormity of the project and the technology it incorporates. Although it does currently opperate with the most expensive static prop ever, poor Yeti. Consider the complexity of the mountain. 3 seperate structures enclossed in the mountain. The mountain, coaster, and Yeti all have their own structure and are seperate from one another. Very impressive in my book.

The coaster itself is probably only like 20-30 mil. But when you build a giant mountain, a huge yeti, and bring in tons of authentic decorations from nepal including a large hand carved wooden building... the cost keeps adding up. It is quite a sight to behold. By far the most entertaining que line I've been in.

^Agreed. The first time I rode it I didn't use the fast pass option and went there first thing in the morning. I'm actually glad that I had about a 20 minute wait, that whole experience was very very cool.

Well, considering the fact that the amount of power takes (or took) to power the yeti is (was) about the same amount of power it takes to power a jet.... so......

I think that's a fair estimate.
