October 14, 201015 yr I was just browsing on google images of PKI images and found a Italian Job: Stunt Track on ride photo. I vaguely remember it having an on ride photo, when did that disappear?
October 14, 201015 yr I remember it existing... They were for purchase in a trailer parked outside the entrance, right where the exit spills out into that plaza. It must not have lasted more than a year or so, though, since it definitely wasn't there as Backlot Stunt Coaster... Where on the ride was the photo taken? In the tunnel?
October 14, 201015 yr Author I do remember the trailer being parked out there that sold on ride photos. Looking back, I wish I would have gotten an on ride photo while I had the chance, same goes for every Paramount themed ride that had an on ride photo, heck, I just wish I would have bought on ride photos that contained the PKI logo on them.
October 14, 201015 yr The trailer was situated in that wide expanse of concrete just to the right of the entrance if you're facing towards the warehouse scene. It also sold PKI and Italian Job merchandise. The trailer is now right next to the Zephyr, directly across from the games before you enter X-Base. If you look closely you can see that it still has the Yellow/Black paint job that a lot of the Italian Jon signage and such had.
October 14, 201015 yr Actually if I'm remembering right there were two trailers. One that faced at you as you walked out the exit for the onride photo, and then the merch trailer next to it that faced toward the midway.
October 15, 201015 yr I bought an on-ride photo of IJ:ST of my brother and I. It was on the launch. Does Firehawk still have an on-ride photo? Still need one from that coaster.
October 20, 201015 yr Except, weren't the trains re-arranged in 2010? Not that it's a huge deal, haha, just nit-picking (as usual!) Also, anyone else notice a rather large reduction in foliage around the ride's tunnel & queue & plaza between 2005 and 2009/10? Diamondback? I guess I don't understand why those trees would be removed, unless it's to provide a better view of Diamondback for pedestrians (and no, it's not just fullness of the trees - there were at least three that were physically removed from the tunnel area).
