Was Picnic Grove there whan the park opend in 1972? Was there something in that area before Picnic Grove? Sorry, if this is a repeat.

Well drewbari where face/off is today was the picnic grove used to hang around before the AZ expaision. they had to remove it to put Face/Off there, they relocated it to the walkway to WW/BB.

Actually you are quite wrong my friend... The picnic grove has always been where it is. While yes, there was a smaller picnic grove where Face/Off is now, it wasn't the only one. Also, the picnic grove in AZ wasn't used as much at the time it was take out.

The picnic grove has been where it is since the park opened, beastfreak is right. It's a nice place to have a family reunion or big corporate party. You can now have groups of 25, and probably smaller if you call ahead and set it up. The park can make the food and serve it for you (and the food out there is great! The chicken is the best in the picinic grove!) or you can have an event catered from an outside company. They also have a live band in the bandstand on Saturdays during the summer for a few hours. Maybe PKIU/C can see about getting a get together for next year in the grove?
