June 18, 201016 yr This a poll discussing The Racer... In my opinion I like the Red Racer because it's smoother than the Blue Racer and I like how start out on the Red Racer. You go right next to the midway...
June 18, 201016 yr I prefer the Blue since it seems slightly smoother to me. Might just be my imagination, but I've had more good rides on it than the Red side. However, the Red Side usually wins more. (From what I've seen)
June 18, 201016 yr i like them both, but i voted red, just because i like that color better. the only time i ever ride the blue racer is so that i can see if the park has anything "hidden" back by the wooden coaster maintenance sheds (i.e. Halloween Haunt theming)
June 18, 201016 yr Red side, the crew is always more enthusiastic and fun. Plus Red side feels smoother and wins most the time.
June 18, 201016 yr Author The staff is doing very well with making The Racer actually race. I like it.
June 18, 201016 yr Whichever side is backwards. But seriously, I picked red as my favorite. I think it's a little smoother, plus, like beastforever389, I like how it starts next to the midway. Historically, I think red has won more times while I've ridden it. I have yet to ride Racer this year where they've actually run both sides. I think I need to go back...
June 18, 201016 yr On the polls on Kings Islands' website, there is the same question, and the blue racer is winning. Surprisingly. I hate the blue racer. It is way too rough. When I ride that, my leg hits the lap bar and it hurts a ton - in fact, it's not even fun. Then on the red racer, I don't even move in my seat except the smooth airtime on the hills. Much better.
June 18, 201016 yr I was on the blue racer the other day and sat in the same seat for 4 rides in a row and won each one. But that was just one time.
June 18, 201016 yr Blue Racer, it's slightly more exciting due to the roughness. But really, I ride the Red Racer more because it opens earlier. And after both sides have warmed up, I think the wins are split.
June 19, 201016 yr The red side. On the blue side, right before the turn around, there's a rough spot in the track that kills my back every time. I perfer the red for the sake I don't feel as sore afterwards.

I hate to say this but honestly, the only reason I came up with this poll is because I saw this question on KI's website. teehee!

June 19, 201016 yr this just goes to show that us enthusiast, or at least those of us who consider ourselves one, don't always "shine through" when the general public is thrown into the mix...
June 19, 201016 yr i dont really care because i like steel roller coasters just a little bit more but i still ride them but i dont care if i win or not its all about having fun but i pick the side that has the shortest line
June 29, 201016 yr I may be in the minority here, but I prefer Blue Racer over Red Racer. After getting a reride on Georgia Cyclone about 3 months ago, and having ridden Voyage 50 times in 2.5 days, I can handle Blue Racer! (just please don't ever make me ride Mean Streak at CP *shudder*)
June 29, 201016 yr ^I will make you ride Mean Streak (evil laugh), I dont see how people find unbearable, I average about 3 rides on it per visit.
June 29, 201016 yr And you can wear flip flops on Mean Streak... Terp, who some say has a little Mean Streak in him at times....
July 13, 201016 yr Red/Blue Red is the best side. Blue usually wins because most of the time Blue is the only one running making Red forfit and lose.
