I was just sitting here watching the snow wondering.... I wonder what everyones favorite weather to ride in is i can honestly say i love riding all rides right after a big rain storm. What bout u?

although it hurts a little, it's even more fun to ride them in the rain, imo, but i wouldn't want to do that on a daily basis, lol.

I tend to like a clear day for riding, but on occasion I enjoy riding in the rain.......Now that I think of it, I think a snow ride would be cool! haha

Yeah I found a ride in the rain on Vortex makes for a fast ride. The turn after th fisrt drop is very jerky in the rain.

One ride I would not want to ride after the rain is Adventure Express. The tunnels always smell.

I like riding first thing in the morning on a nice summer day, 70-80 degrees. I wish Kings Island opened earlier (in the day, that is)!

It has always amazed me that Great Adventure typically opens much earlier in the year than Kings Island.

yeah it is akward but hey maybe Kings Island will jump aboard and open earlier

One reason they open as late in the day as they do is that the wooden coasters need walking each morning. Kings Island opens half an hour earlier than do many other parks...

1. A sunny and cloudless summer morning because my mind tells me I have all day to enjoy the weather and rides.

2. Sunset on a warm and clear fall evening because I have all evening to enjoy rides and Halloween festivities.

Some of us have even ridden The Beast in the snow yes It was Snowing.

Back in March of 03 I had the cold and wet opportunity to ride SOB with just myself and a train full of water dummies! My favorite time to ride is any time

...I won't go quite that far...

Terpy, who remembers well a Conneaut Lake Blue Streak ride in pouring rain...it hurt! So much so that the next day at work he had black speckled bruises all over his face, except for under his glasses!

Clear evenings, when the sun is near the horizon and its warm sidelighting casts long shadows.

And of course, after dark. My first ride on an otherwise empty coaster train was Vortex during a Haunt one year, it was a memorable experience. And needless to say... Beast after dark.

Tom76257 and I got that glory. I don't remember what day it was, but we went to SFKK last year and the park was so empty you could hear a pin drop. We both got single rides on Greezed Lightnin. Nobody but me, the train, and the track. It is indeed an unbelievable feeling.

As for times I like to ride, I enjoy riding in the pitch black night, and/or after the rain when the track is wet. I also love the added rush of riding during an approaching thunderstorm.. I LOVE thunderstorms.

yeah beast night rides are the best but i also enjoy Diamondback in the pitch dark. when u go through the hammerhead turn it is pitch black

Last summer, I marathoned Pepsi Python in pouring rain. The best Galaxi ride ever!
