January 26, 201016 yr I plan to be able to see the Eiffel Tower, and other tall rides from my house. I wantto be able to walk there!
March 11, 201016 yr It seems like a lot of people that post on the forums live relatively close to the park. Just wondering how far away people on here are from Kings Island. I'm just outside Chicago, and I would drive to Maine if KI was located there I love it so much

March 11, 201016 yr I'm in Dayton. I actually had to Google maps this to find out how far away it was. We just hop in the car and go the 'back' way past Traders World and the prison.I never thought about how far away it was!
March 15, 201016 yr I live, according to Google Maps, 228 miles away. It says 3 hours and 50 minutes, but sometimes it takes a little longer during heavy traffic. But it's totally worth the drive! Plus, we have fun along the way sharing our anticipation of getting there! Oh, I can't wait for this season!!
March 15, 201016 yr It's right at 70 miles for me. Takes about 1 1/2 hours if I go the quick way. I'm about 1/2 way between Indy and Dayton, right on 70. I go to the park down IN-1 to US52, I am jumping for joy that 275 is done!! That's the best news I've heard all winter!
March 15, 201016 yr I live about 80 something miles from KI. I can get to the park in a hour and 10 mins depending on the cops and if i stop for food.
March 15, 201016 yr 8 miles. about a 12 minute drive. the best part is we drive by, if the parking lot is too full, we drive right back home. if we get an evening rain, we jump in the car and head over. we catch the empty rides after most of the people in the park bail.
March 15, 201016 yr 218 miles, roughly 3 1/2 hours. I live just off interstate 74 on the Illinois/ Indiana border GO ILLINI!! NIT bound........"I got a rock."
April 14, 201016 yr It takes me about 25 to 30 minutes to get to KI traveling 25 miles from Anderson Township. On the other hand, Coney is a relatively short 7 miles and ten minutes from my house. Which explains why I have worked at Coney for so many years and never at Kings Island. That would be a lot of extra time wasted sitting in my car driving! I live on 8 mile and it only takes 15 minutes for me to catch 275 from Beechmont and head up. We should meet up sometime! My friend Jan and I eat at Panera about twice a month.
April 14, 201016 yr Parkersburg wv is a ways out as well.It would be cool to live only a few miles a way.id be there everyday.
May 24, 201016 yr I wish I could live 5 miles away from the park. Alas, I live a mere 2,355 miles from the park I live in Seattle, so I think I have about everyone beat in terms of distance? I used to live 30 minutes away but I haven't been back since 2001. I will get to go this summer however!
May 24, 201016 yr Just remember, you are not that far from PNE and the glorious Coaster... Of that, *I* am envious. And Puyallup. And Silverwood and Tremors, by comparison, are closer than they are to here! Enjoy!
May 28, 201016 yr 21.28 miles away according to Mapquest. It usually takes me between 20 and 30 minutes to get from my front door to the park depending on how fast (Or rather, how recklessly? ) I drive.
May 31, 201016 yr I live approximately 1160 miles away from good 'ol KI. Still have managed to go every summer for the past 12-15 years though. If I were to drive there Bing says it would take 16 hours and 50 minutes; holy cow. Conversely, my cousins live 5.6 miles away, and is like a 10-15 minute drive to the park.
July 17, 201016 yr 165 miles according to Google. Takes a little over 2 hours but is very much worth it.
