okay, i was just wondering if this new forum skin is here to stay, or if it's just because we're getting ready to bump up to a new server.

anyway, i like it, it's just a little hard to see where a quote begins and ends.

Could we at least keep the other one as an option? IIRC, Invision does allow for the user to select from multiple skins. This one is really hard to navigate compared to the old one.

I like the new skin as well. It's a completely different IPB skin than I've seen before. Looks nice guys!

It also appears to be darn near impossible to find out which topics have new posts. Although it also has some Twitter feature and post karma, so that makes it okay. And they finally called the multiquote button "MultiQuote" instead of "quote", which makes way more sense.

It's meh to me. I liked the old one better. This one does not like my iPod Touch, it makes it extremely hard to navigate on an iTouch.

^I would bet there is the same problem on most people's phones, too. Unfortunately, I can't try it on my iPod right now because it is dead.

I definitely don't like the new look. It seems too...blah! When i clikced for new posts, it only took me to the beginning of the threads. The only thing I do like about the new format is the fast reply. When you click in the Fast Reply box, you have almost all of the options from the regular reply box, which is different from what it used to be.

Edit: What are the post voting buttons at the bottom right of each post for?

I love it really....The KIC team will most likely edit there logo somewhere into this new look so it might look somewhat different.

I didn't like it at first, but I'm getting used to it. I'm liking the new look more and more.

I don't like it @ all. Its like 20/80 for me. I'm currently on my blackberry 8330. While it takes away the avatars/signatures (which I like/hate cause I miss my squirel on a trashcan out in front of SDatHC yet there where a few that annoyed me like whoever had the qoute that was 6 lines long made my blackberry crazy due to added length to get to next post). I am having dificulty navigating as there isn't a new post button for recent activity, so I must go into each little subtopic to find what I want. There is a lot more I want to say, but I don't want to seem like a complainer.

We made the upgrade to IPB3.0 so this is just the default skin for now. The old skin will have to be changed to fit the new software.

I like it. It has a cleaner, brighter, and more organized look. Just gave it a whirl on my BlackBerry Curve 8330.. I found the menu to be more user friendly, and easier to navigate. I give the new KIC an A+. Great job, guys!

That's right, when you visit from a smartphone it should kick you over to the high speed lo-fi version automatically.

I like the new look. If it stayed like this for a while, I would be a happy guy. If it does change I won't mind. I'm not to picky about appearances. Just as long as KIC is here for me to read and enjoy, I'll be happy.

I don't really like it that much, I guess where I got used to the old one so much. Dane, you said the old one was being changed to fit the new software, will I be able to choose that skin when it gets updgraded?

As of now I am not a big fan of the new look...it seems a bit "cold"...too business like...but hopefully it will grow on me.

I like it. It's clean and easy to read. It does feel a bit cold, probably becuase I miss the old look. Quotes are confusing looking too.

Testing.... 1, 2, 3... Cool! This works nicely! Nice, new way to add emoticons. The color pallette stays one size, now, too! I like this so far.

I see there is a "view new content" link next to the RSS Feed Icon now. (Close to where it used to be.)

I do not like the new skin. But I'll get use to it. Not worth complaining about.

Another thing I like is the way you post pictures and links. Instead of a box popping up, a dropdown type menu appears and doesn't get blocked by my internet settings.

This is VERY different. Not that I don't like it, different is good(with the exception of taking out Spongebob and Scooby for some other dog my kids don't know but that's for another thread). Sure it will take some getting used to, but we will. Will there be skin plug ins where we can alter the colors/etc to our liking? That'd be the only thing I'd want. Thanks guys for the server move!

1. What is this post karma you're referring to?

2. Instead of doing an actualy login, just click on one of the portected forums like Off Topic. Then it says you're not allowed to view, so please login, so you can login that way (I find it quicker)

3. I would agree. All of the heading fonts and poster info area (name, avatar, etc) seems to be much larger. Also, most of the buttons seem a lot bigger.

Edit: I do like the new Top 20 Posters page and the Overall Top Posters page.

Also, after going to the page that lists topics that have new posts, it sometimes just takes me to the beginning of the topic. Is there a reason for this? I know that Carowinds' fansite has that problem, but I never knew why.

I enjoy this new skin, but the only thing I do not like, and maybe its just a transfer thing or what not, is the fact its hard to tell who was quoting who in some other topics. It seems in this forum its easier but in the others not so much. But besides that keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen
