Tomb Raider monkeys?

Featured Replies

On Friday I went and when we were waiting in the monkey room and someone was talking to us over the thing about facts (i already knew) and then he told us that the monkeys are the same ones in the movie. I guess its true and then I was wondering if that one girl who has like 5 arms is from the movie set two I was just wondering.

Yeah, the other statue is from the movie too. It's funny, because in the movie they make it look a lot bigger than it is in real life. I mean, a LOT.

I thought that like only 4 or 5 of the monkeys in that room are from the movie and the others are models. And yes..In the movie..They make that thing look ALOT bigger then what it really is.But see..Me and my friends..Rode the ride before we even seen the movie..Haha.

Camera effects.... they probably made everything else, ie. people, look smaller by messing with the video on computers and stuff.

All the tomb raider statues that keep apearing everywhere (at PKI and PKD, maybe other parks) have all come from the movies.

They look bigger on camera because they use trick photography, green screens and computer animation.

Mainly, with the brahma statue, they didn't have to worry about people thinking it was small, the room is built like Disneyworld's Mainstreet USA. The bottom of the room is actual size, but as it rises, things get smaller. I think this how they made him look big. And when Lara stands in front of the statue, the camera is on the ground level, pointing up, making the statue look bigger than it is. Then it's switched over to CG for the battle between Lara and the Statue. You know, thinking about it, I like TR:TR's durga more than the brahma statue in the preshow. For those that don't know, Durga(sometimes called Shiva)is the "boss" of the ride in the ride room.

[How would you make it bigger on a camera? ]

The camera adds fifteen pounds to every person. I dont really know how that can be applied toward inanmiate objects but im sure they correspond somehow!

wow 15 pounds. I've never heard of that before. That's pretty cool how they make things bigger than what they actually are. Hey, if they add 15 pounds and it works, it works! laugh.gif
