Many people have said that 5-1 was the best seat, so I rode there last Wednesday. I honestly didn't see it as anything special. I still prefer 1-1. What about you guys?

I agree with mark on this one. I find 5-1 to be much smoother (and therefore more enjoyable) than other seats on Vortex, though the only other seat I've ridden frequently was 1-1.

7-1! I'll never ride another seat. So much airtime on the first drop, and it doesn't bang your head at all.

I rode in row 4-1 and enjoyed it more than 5-1. I have yet to try 7-1 though.

Just sit somewhere in the last car of the train. You'll have a blast no matter what!

DITTO!!! You have to know how to ride through the pulls in the loops, but 7-1 is a great airtime seat

to me 5-1 seemed rougher to me..... i didn't get it...

i was in 5-1 yesterday... didnt even think about reading here that it was the best seat....

after riding however, i even looked at my friend and said that "that was the best ride ever on Vortex".

(maybe excluding my first ever when i was 9).

When I rode in 5-1 on anaconda last month it snapped my spine pretty hard coming off the MCBR,then again anaconda's layout is more severe than Vortex's.

I like riding the back. Nothing like that 1st drop.

No seat on Vortex feels good to me.

Any seat in the last car of the train is definitely the best. Just wait 'til you go down the first drop and you'll know why.

The only reason I ride that ride is for the drop and the two corkscrews!

7-1 Is the absolute best seat on the ride, I've sat in probably every single seat and nothing beats 7-1. You get airtime on the Second and Third Drops (1st. Drop Is the one out of the station, 2nd. is the one out of the lift, 3rd. is the big one.) And you even get some weird airtime out of the MCBR and during the corkscrews you get thrown around in a good way and get great hangtime. Also if you have your OTSR 3 Clicks down you get an amazing ride!

I will never understand peoples fascination with this Arrow headbanger, but that's just me .

I seem to never get head banged on Vortex. My shoulders fit perfectly in the harness and it holds me firmly in place. Also I like the First and the Last seat.
